Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

An absolutely outstanding tour that we would highly recommend! Matt and I were staying in New york for a fortnight with a 5 day trip to Boston in the middle of it. We had our tour on day three and from the first minute of meeting Mark we both felt so comfortable and at ease with him. We asked Mark to chose where he took us, as we said to him " you're the boss and you know the best places" We visited Times Square, Central Park, went on the subway, Brooklyn Bridge, soho and Greenwich. It was awsome! We felt so relaxed and so famous!!! We could see people looking at us and thinking "who are they" it was just so much fun! Mark dropped our cd of 113 photo's off at our hotel later that afternoon and they were stunning. The close-ups of us against the stunning New York backgrounds are fabulous and to have so many photo's of the two of us is wonderful. To give you an idea of how amazing this tour was.........we went straight back and booked another one for the day before we came home! The second tour was as amazing as the first one, maybe even better because we felt even more at ease with Mark, he had become more of a friend by this point. We had our own ideas this time and Mark was quite happy to fall in with them and also to make a few suggestions of his own. We went to Grand Central Terminal, (ask him about the whispering wall!) Bryant Park, Ground Zero, The South Street Seaport and others that I just can't remember at this point. Please, if you have the chance to do this tour then do it!!! You will feel a million dollars, you will have awesome photo's of ALL people in your group, you'll get a private tour of New York by a native New Yorker and you'll get to make a damn good friend too!!! What more could you ask for?? Mark, if you're reading this............................Told you I'd write you a good one didn't I! PHOTO TREK TOURS IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! MARC MADE US FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND MADE IT SO FUN, WE COULD NOT HELP BUT SMILE FOR EVERY PHOTO! THIS WAS OUR FIRST TRIP TOGETHER TO NYC (AND WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT) AND THE PHOTOTREK TOUR WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR 4 DAYS IN NEW YORK! WE WILL DEFINITELY DO THIS AGAIN ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO NYC, WE'LL JUST DO A DIFFERENT TOUR! MARC WAS FANTASTIC, WE CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH!

Great experience across the board. The four of us would all recommend the tour to anyone that is coming to New York for the first time. We took the tour on our first day there and it set us up for the rest of the vacation. We were comfortable using the subway after the three hours were up and went back to the neighborhoods that we walked through for dinner. The pictures turned out great and were delivered to our hotel room the next day; we were able to check them out on the hotel computer which was a lot of fun. It is well worth the money and one of the highlights of our time in New York! Absolutely recommended.

Marc was very nice. He was also very helpful in explaining how the subway works. I do wish we would have had a little more time so he could have taken more pictures but we were very happy with the service.

We loved Mark - this was a great tour. The pictures are wonderful. Mark really knows and loves New York. He worked with our group on his day off - thank you. I would recommend Mark to any group. We had a wonderful time. The only change I would do - is to book the longer tour - the 2 hours just wizzed by. BTW - we all liked the subway ride. Thanks

This was our first experience to New York. I'd like to think that I am conservative and realistic when searching for tours at any destination places we are about to visit for the very first time. MARC IS A CLASS ACT! Everything the reviews stated proved to be more and then some. A little apprehensive as I have Lupus and flare up on occassion, which my feet did swell, Marc was extremely patient and kind throughout our walking tour. He was still able to provide "MAGICAL MOMENTS/PHOTOS that my husband and I would not ever had otherwise. He made it a point to escort us to our next destination and pointed out several fine deli's in the vicinity. He delivers the photos as promised, we had ours by 11:30 a.m. and I have since not only referred tourist in New York City while we were there to take advantage of a WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY, but I have shown our photos to friends and family, and they were awe struck with statements such as, "WOW, What GREAT PHOTOS", "What a GREAT INVESTMENT", "What a lifetime of MEMORIES", "The pictures are OUTSTANDING and CAPTURED THE EXCITEMENT"! You won't regret spending 2-3 hours with Marc and Photo Trek. This turned out to be "Our Dream of a Lifetime, something we will have forever to REMEMBER!" Marc, a special note to you...... YOU PROVIDE A WONDERFUL SERVICE, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO! Next time Jon & I are there to visit, we will do Greenwhich Village, Soho, and maybe Little Italy! I cannot emphasize enough how incredible this tour was. I found that on most vacations my wife and I always have pictures of either her only or me only due to the fact that one of us always has to take the picture. This tour gave us a ton of pictures with both of us in them all. Also, Marc knows all the great backgrounds and sites for the best pictures. He is very knowledgable about the city, so it is fun to learn and take pictures. I would put this tour as a requirement to everyones vacation.

We toured with Marc this last Monday (May 20th), we were only in town for the day, and I'm completely statisfied with what we were able to experience. We told Marc what we hadnt yet seen and he made sure he took us to those locations! He knows so much of the cities history, it was amazing learning as much as we did! The pictures were mailed to us on a disc and we received it (on the west coast) in two business days! Amazing service, definitely knows what he is doing and the pictures all turned out wonderful! Thank you so much Marc!

New York can be a little overwhelming for a first-time visitor, but after two hours with Mark we were totally at ease. And as for the photos - they were fantastic! As a couple, we only ever have pictures of one or the other when travelling. Now we not only have pictures of us together, we have great pictures! Mark was totally open to any suggestions we had and even modified the tour to take in an area of New York I was particularly interested in. Mark is very easygoing and a wealth of information - from where to get cheap show tickets to good restaurants to how to read the subway map. The tour moves fast, so be ready to flash your pearly whites from the get go as there's no real time to think about posing. But when you see just how many top snaps he captures it's totally worth it. I admit I was a little hesitant about the price, but I can't stress enough - it's worth every penny. You couldn't get the same shots yourself and certainly not with the added bonus of all the insider knowledge and history of the places you visit. I think the beauty of this tour too is that you could be a first-time visitor or a regular to New York and still get something out of it. Five stars!
