Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our photo tour with Marc! He was very informative about the sights he took us on and took wonderful pictures. We will enjoy these pictures for a lifetime! We do hope to come back in the near future though and will more than likely contact PhotoTrek tours again for another tour and more outstanding pictures to take home with us. We had the 3 hour tour and probably could have done more. He told us several good restaurants to try and at the end of the tour said goodbye to us in front of a pizza place he recommended and boy was it the best pizza we have ever eaten! This is definetely a tour to take to see the sights and have pictures taken with your entire party in them!!! We highly recommend to everyone traveling to the Big Apple!!!

My daughter and I took this tour which was great! .. It was great way to see a lot of NY in a short period of time with a tour guide who knows where to snap all the pictures. Our guide was knowledgeable about NY pointing out different trivia facts along the way .. He gave us suggestions for dinner in the city .. suggestions of other things we should not miss while in NY. I highly recommend the tour!

This activity was a highlight of the trip when planning everything for New York City and we were not disapointed. Not only was Marc great in giving tips to getting around on the confusing subway system but he was able to point out historical buildings we passed and give tidbits of information on the sites we came across. We love to scrapbook our vacations and with the pictures that Marc captured we are sure to have a fantastic photo album to show our friends and family. It was wonderful getting creative, fun shots without having to ask people to take the picture for us. Marc was even open to suggestions when we saw a location that looked interesting for a quick photo. We particularly wanted to catch some color changes in the leaves and Marc ensured that we would get what few were in Central Park. One suggestion, wear your walking shoes and get ready to move because you are covering a lot of ground in a short period of time. It was a whirlwind two hours but we had a blast and now have the pictures to prove it.

This tour was fabulous from beginning to end. The tour guide was professional, knowledgeable and fun. He made wonderful suggestions about the places to see in New York and then personalized the tour with beautiful pictures of us at the places we visited. We covered a great deal of the city with ease and it was one of the most exciting and unique tours we have ever experienced. We would definitely do it again.

My husband and I had a blast on our personal photo tour! And the pictures turned out great! We were there for such a short period of time and this tour allowed us to see everything we wanted. It was a blast. Thanks!

I am very glad we decided to do the Phototrek tour. It seems expensive up front, but when you break down the cost per picture, it's less than $3 per picture. And it was probably less than that because Marc took more than the advertised number of pics! And we have all pics on a CD so we have them forever! Marc is great! He gave us three different routes to choose from for the Best of NY Tour. He guides you on poses and is open to suggestions. We also took our own pics along the way and he didn't mind. We felt like stars getting our pictures taken by the paparazzi. It was a great experience!!!

I booked this tour late and was only able to get a time slot at the end of our trip. I highly recommend that you take this tour!!! But take it at the beginning of your stay if you are new to NY. Our guide/photographer Marc was a wealth of information about the city as well as the bus lines, subways, etc. things you really need to know in traveling about the city. We saws lots, and over 130+ pictures taken of my daughter and I - not just my daughter!!! LOVE the idea and it was that and more!!!!

Marc provides a great tour of the city. He customized it to our needs and shared some great tips along the way. We had a terrific time, and the photos were outstanding. They arrived at our hotel the next day. If you are traveling to New York, this is a "must see" tour. It's well worth the money.

The tour gives you a GREAT feeling of NYC and really helps to understand the many sites/locations of the city. I'm recommending Marc Samuels to anybody that we know who visits here to personally give the tour. He shared his knowledge of the city with us and is a great listener too. He had lot of positive energy like we're his good friends from the past. We started in Central Park, visited the local neighborhoods, walked by Columbus Circle, Times Square, Bryant Park, Grand Central Station (whispering corners I liked), subway rides/educated us on this (very very helpful), Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, Soho, Litte Italy and on and on. The walk up the Brooklyn bridge was exciting. When we were in the middle of the bridge, the views were so beautiful. As with Central Park and all of the other areas, we were able to appreciate the sites we've only known from television. We know now that every time we go anywhere we will be commenting on this tour. The day after our tour with Marc, we were with my brother & sister in-law and wanted to go see the cast of RENT in Bryant park. The great part was that we were able to lead the way. The tour was so complete in that we remembered how to get around to many of the places we visited just by following Marc's comments and directions. In short, we had a FABULOUS, WONDERFUL, EVENTFUL time all made so much better because of our tour with Marc. Thank you very much. We did not want to have to keep asking random strangers to take our picture just so we could get some pictures of us together. We are very happy with the pictures that we got, they look great and we got to see lots of the city's hot spots. Mark was very helpful and he gave us great information and advice. This is a great tour and well worth the price, your pictures will speak for themselves.
