Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

The tour was fantastic. Mark knew his way around and took amazing pictures in superb locations. We got to see the city and will treasure the excellent pictures. As a single parent it can be difficult to get decent pictures of me and my daughter together when we are on vacation, so this really was the perfect solution. Mark met us in a convienient location and delivered the photos to our hotel within hours. An essential activity for anyone visiting New York!

I booked this tour late and was only able to get a time slot at the end of our trip. I highly recommend that you take this tour!!! But take it at the beginning of your stay if you are new to NY. Our guide/photographer Marc was a wealth of information about the city as well as the bus lines, subways, etc. things you really need to know in traveling about the city. We saws lots, and over 130+ pictures taken of my daughter and I - not just my daughter!!! LOVE the idea and it was that and more!!!!

Marc provides a great tour of the city. He customized it to our needs and shared some great tips along the way. We had a terrific time, and the photos were outstanding. They arrived at our hotel the next day. If you are traveling to New York, this is a "must see" tour. It's well worth the money.

Marc was brilliant and so friendly.He showed us around his NewYork and tailored it to our expectations.His photos really captured the fun and excitment that comes with visiting new york. Marc knew all the best locations and explained the subway and so much about New York to us.We visited areas we would never have found by ourselves and feel we discovered the real new york. The photos are brilliant and Marc got the disc to us by 8am the next day. We can't recommend it enough.It will be the best part of your trip to New York. The photos in Central Park and on the Brooklyn Bridge are amazing and he also took us to Carrie's Brownstone stoop!! book now and you won't be disappointed.

We were in New York for 2 1/2 days and I wanted to get some sight seeing done without wasting alot of our precious time. This was the perfect activity! Mark was great and kept the tour moving while allowing us time at the different spots to take in the sights. He customized the tour so that we could focus on the areas we wanted too and skip the sights we had already seen. The pictures were great and something we will cherish forever as you can't otherwise get the shots. And we were able to pick them up the next morning before catching our flight. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants a TON of great pictures, wants to see great sights and especially if your time is limited.

Mark our tour guide was awesome. He taught us how to "catch" a ride on the subway and at the same time how to not get lost in New York! He was prompt, courteous and very patient with our little six year old. His tour was alot of fun and we got to see some great sights, we especailly enjoyed walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. The tour was worth every cent that we paid for it and then some. I would highly recommend it!

Great opportunity to learn about the city. I have not recieved our photo's yet, but we had a great time with Mark. He was very professional and took tons of photos. We did this tour last, I would reccomend doing it first because Mark has great insight on NYC. Good info on subway usage and areas to visit. This tour comes highly recommended!

As first-timers to NYC, Marc's tips were very handy. We learned how to navigate the subway system and the streets of NYC. Our two-hour tour began in Times Square, hit highlights along Fifth Avenue, through Central Park, onto the subway, to a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Marc worked with us when the airline cancelled our flight and put us in a real jam. The airline also lost our luggage with our walking shoes inside. This tour requires sneakers to keep pace with Marc. This tour is NOT a leisurely walk around the city. Be prepared to walk at a brisk pace to fit it all in. The photo CD was delivered to our hotel the very next day. You see so much, it leaves your head spinning. Thankfully, you'll have a ton of photos to remember it all.

we booked the photo tour on the recommendation of friends who used it in April 2008. we were in new york as a family to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary so this was a special occasion and we wanted good photos of all of us, some of which we could frame when home. the tour was so much more than just good photos. firstly mark was a very friendly and enthusiastic person who immediately made us feel at ease. we felt like celebrities! he took us on the subway which was something we hadnt done on our own but was great to do with someone with local knowledge. secondly he took us on a whirlwind tour all the time giving wee snippets of information which entertained the whole family age 10 years and up. he was flexible and if there was a picture you particularly wanted he would try his best to get it. we weren't able to get a slot prior to us leaving but i took the phone number and phoned once in new york and Marc accommodated us. he was even able to change the day/time due to inclement weather. We had our tour only a few hours before flying home and by the time we arrived home we could view the pictures online via a link that marc emailed to us. the hard disc arrived within 5 days.
