Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

It was AMAZING!! A group of 4 girls did this for my sisters bachelorette. I brought funny sunglasses and fake teeth, hats and wigs - so we could dress up and really let loose. Marc was pretty awesome and a really great guy - and the perfect guide. We were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt afterwards. Highly recommend this for families, couples, friends, and for outtings like a bachelorette - birthdays - whatever! It's a must do in NYC. I grew up right outside of NYC, and we had never seen the city like that - it was AMAZING and we all had a blast. Best photos ever!

This is something that anybody going to New York should do. We decided to take the tour as it was our first time in New York and also because when there's just two of you, it's difficult to get a lot of pictures together. The pictures that Mark took were brilliant and we ended up with 150 photos, well over the 75 we were initially expecting. Mark turned up 10 mins early and was really friendly and approachable. He was really informative and even showed us how to get around on the subway, which we then ended up using all week! I'd recommend taking the tour early on in your trip as it really helps you find your way around. Mark also dropped the photos disc off at the hotel desk as arranged. We had great time and the pictures we have brought back are fantastic! Mark does a brilliant job and has allowed us to bring back really good photos of a very memorable holiday. I truly enjoyed my Photo Trek tour with Marc. He gave us a great tour and was so easy to travel with around the city. I was really afraid that my boyfriend wouldn't like to tour and having to stop and pose for pictures, but it wasn't awkward at all! He actually ended up really enjoying it and loves the pictures. I am so glad that we went on this tour, because we saw some great spots of NYC that we might of missed and we got a lot of great pictures that we will cherish for years to come. I thought that this was the best purchase that I made on the entire trip! My family and friends have thoroughly enjoyed our pictures. I love photos and was determined to not come home with a camera full of pictures of my boyfriend and me alone so looked around and found phototrek, We took the 3 hour tour on the 28th December 2008 and thought it was very good, was a bit apprehensive as could only find reviews on this site and they all seemed positive which made me doubt it! (thats just me ha ha) really glad we did it, ended up with 145 great photos. My least favourite bit was the amount of time we spent in the village and soho, i did feel that this could have been more condensed but dont get me wrong i loved it and would defiantley do it again. Marc was very accomodating and would happily change the order of the tour to suit you if required.

What a fantastic experience!! Everything, from the booking to the actual tour itself was flawless, absolutely everything I could have wanted. Seriously, this is the best idea ever for vacationing friends/couples who have the problem of never getting to be in your own pictures! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the sights and the city. Even past just the usual "tour guide script," he answered all of our questions, and was completely accommodating and customized the tour to cover the places we wanted to see. When I return to the city in the future with other friends or family, I will definitely insist on this being one of our activities again. Pictures were fantastic, and were ready the next day! Overall, a completely amazing experience, and one that I will definitely be doing again.

The photo trek tour was the best part of our trip. As this was our first visit to NYC, we set up the tour for our first day in town. And boy are we glad we did! Mark gave us the knowledge and history of the city, and the confidence to venture out on our own. And we got some great pictures along the way! The photo tour was more than we both expected!! Marc met us at our hotel first where we decided together what spots we should go to. Marc, thank you so much for the priceless photos. We are using them in a photo book and since we got engaged that weekend to the tour and the photos were a great way to commemorate our trip. We would recommend this photo tour to anyone visiting New York. It will be the highlight of your trip, not to mention you'll have tons of pictures of your group professionally taken!!

The Personal Photo Tour was one of the best tours that we booked during our stay in New York. Our photographer was very informative and kept us going at a quick pace. We were able to see many different sights of New York plus get some wonderful photo's. We did the photo tour on our first day so that we were able to go back if we wanted to, to see things for longer if we wanted. I would HIGHLY reccommend that people get these tours done.

Our tour guide gave us a bunch of tips and tricks to get around NYC and he took over 130 pictures of us; which we got via mail within a few days! :o)
