Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour

We had the opportunity to complete a PhotoTrek tour with Marc in New York the day I turned 50, This was our first trip to NY and what better way to get shown the city than by someone born & bred there, his commentary was interesting and informative, he was easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable right from the start. We did this tour on the second day of our trip, Marc took the time to show us how to use the Subway properly and it gave us the confidence to navigate the city with ease. We did his 3 hour tour and loved every minute of it. The photos he took were superb and really captured the moment. We have only recently returned and had the pleasure of reviewing the photos taken again, great memories of a great trip. Our walk through Soho and Greenwich Village with its many historical music places, bars and restaurants was worth the price of the tour in itself!! We managed to see many things in a relatively short period of time. If you have not been to NY before this is a great way to get started, even if you have you might see some things you wouldnt even think of looking at by yourself We will definitely be returning again at some stage to New York..............loved it!! My husband and I agree that this was by far the best money spent on our entire NYC trip. It was a perfect blend of sightseeing with a delightful, knowledgeable guide. We felt like royalty being photographed all over the city. The photographer told us where to stand and gave us tips for the best pictures. We certainly would not have captured our trip nearly as well on our own. We did the touristy buses the first day and it was a joke compared to the real city tour we experienced with PhotoTrek. We chose the 3 hour tour and are so happy we did because we got to see everything we wanted and got a great collection of photos. I would recommend you wear comfortable (but nice for pictures) shoes and limit the bags or other items you carry with you. We will recommend this tour to everyone we know visiting the city. You do not want to miss this!!!

My 9 year old son and i visited New York for a week and found this tour when searching for a tour that took photos. What a find !! Not only did we get a gorgeous set of photos that will be a timeless reminder of The Big Apple , but the knowledge Marc shared was invaluable. Local history and interesting facts as well as how to use the subway and mapping out choice places to visit that you wouldn't otherwise get with the normal run of the mill tourist info. This is without a doubt the best thing we did in New York and i highly recommend Marc, a great photographer and excellent tour guide. Thank you Marc ..

Kennedy was a most valuable asset on our guided tour. His knowledge of the city and it's landmarks is vast and fascinating. Kennedy was extremely personable and offered insights on our many questions. Highly recommend this tour and certainly recommend the services of Kennedy.

the guy who took us on the tour had a lame camera and was just randomly shooting pictures. pictures have no professional touch at all. He did n't know how to take any pictures. Waste of money. I could've asked my friend to accompany us and take these picutures and would've done a better job. recomended if you have money to waste

Hi marc is an amazing tour guide knows the big apple. But the pictures are for a life time of memories need i say more!

We decided to do our photo tour at the start of our holiday, and we were glad we did, as KENNEDY our phototrek guide was excellent he was friendly and made us feel comfortable and at ease while taking lots of photos!, he gave us lots of tips on New York places to go, restaurants and where to buy the best cupcakes!, took us on our first subway ride! It did start to rain half way through our tour, so Kennedy suggusted we should continue the next day. The next day it was raining! Kennedy phoned us first thing in the morning at our hotel and arranged the tour for wed as he said the weather forecast for that day was great. So wed morning the sun was shinning and we got some great photos thanks to Kennedy. We took our own photos on our cameras but none of them compare to the ones Kennedy took and all 3 of us are in the photos no one missing! So as you can see from our review we really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend Photo trek tours and if you get Kennedy you will have a great time. Thank you

We had a fantastic time with Marc, our photographer/guide. We saw so much that we wouldn't have gone to see on our own. It was a packed 3 hour tour with lots of walking, so for people who have issues with walking it might be difficult. We enjoyed the exercise (didn't make us feel so bad when we stopped for a cupcake at Magnolia Bakery when we were done -- we worked it off before we got there!). We had well over 100 photos of our tour, which was great. He also took the time to drop off the disc at the hotel for us before we left for home. Well worth the money!!!

This was a great tour to see the big attractions with great photo opportunities. Marc is a great guide and helps you make the most out of your trip in New York
