| This was the favorite part of our trip to NYC! Marc was fantastic! I went with my 16 year old daughter and her friend and I saw sights I had never seen before in New York. Marc taught us how to use the subway and feel totally safe in the big city. He gave us sooo many tips and is worth every penny on just his tour guide! The fact that we have unbelievable pictures and memories forever is just icing on the cake! Thank you for a great experience in NYC! |

| We'd like to recommend this trip as it's the perfect opportunity for the whole family to all be in the photographs instead of the usual one person missing.
It is also a good way to start your holiday as it assists you with finding your way around New York with an 'Authentic New Yorker' |

| I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone going to New York in any weather.
I was taken to places that I could not access on my own and had beautiful photos taken at places that I had never been.
Even though it snowed for part of the tour, Marc was enthusiastic all the way.
He made me feel like a model, even though I am nowhere near that.
I am going to recommend to friends who will be going in the future to make sure they do this rather than some of the other things available in New York.
Thank you once again Marc.

| My wife and I decided to take this tour so we could see the sites and get some photos of ourselves, which can be quite hard to do. We arrived at the arranged meeting site about 15 minutes early, and Marc was already there waiting for us. After quick introductions and an explanation of the tour, we were off. We sped-walked to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Avenue, Central Park and took the subway down to Brooklyn Bridge. We got a ton of great shots and a lot of info on all the places we visited. Marc was polite, knowledgeable, and gave us some great tips that we will use on our next New York visit. We would recommend Marc to any of our friends visiting New York. |

| Marc was very accommodating, personable and informative! He made me and my daughter (17 yrs. old) feel very comfortable and just generated alot of laughs. We were able to see quite a few places in such a short period of time which was great because we were only visiting for 2 days. We visited Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, Soho, Greenwich Village and Central Park.
I just got my CD with my photos and they were fun to look at! About 140 in all for just 2 hours and most were keepers. There were some posing pictures, but alot of candid shots which were a perfect mix.
I definitely recommend walking shoes and proper weather gear as my daughter quickly learned that cold weather in NYC isn't so fun without them. |

| I took my 16 year old son, Jason, on our first Father/Son trip to NYC for a New Years Eve in Times Square adventure. We are from Mississippi and neither of us had ever travelled to NYC so, honestly, we were more than a little nervous coming to this giant city. On vacations in the past we would always have to take pictures of us individually or together at arms length. That's no fun so we decided to try out the Best of New York tours, see the city and have some great shots made of BOTH of us. To make the most of the journey we opted for the three hour tour, which I highly recommend you do if you really want to see NYC at it's heart! Marc from PhotoTrek Tours met us at our hotel right on time and off we went. Marc is a fantastic guy! Very friendly and knowledgeable! He took us all over the city, showing us how to navigate the subway system and learn the street grids. We walked through and learned all about SOHO (which I now know means "South of Houston - pronounced How-sten), Greenwich Village, Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge. While planning this trip we knew we wanted to see the Empire State, the Statue of Liberty and all of the typical New York sites. Well, we did that but the Best of New York tour showed us much more than that. We truly saw the Best of New York. We saw the heart of the city in the Greenwich Village neighborhoods with the small shops and restaurants. We walked under the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge. We ate the best pizza I have ever tasted at Bleeker St Pizza ( highly recommended by Marc and now me). It was like I told Marc, Times Square may be the "shock" but the Village and SOHO were the "Ahhhh!" We rode the subways and took photos in Times Square with the hundreds of yellow cabs whizzing by. I can honestly say that our trip would not have been so successful or been as much fun if we had not taken this tour. As promised, Marc brought a CD of all of our photos to our hotel the next morning and, now that I am home and have had time to review them, all I can say is WOW! Dozens and dozens of great shots that my son and I will always cherish! If you have never been to New York and want a great way to see the sites (and more!) and have some great pictures and memories then you will be missing out if you don't book a PhotoTrek Tour! Thanks again Marc for an amazing adventure! 5 stars doesn't come close to the rating you deserve! If I could leave 10 that still might not be enough!! Excellent tour!! Thanks! | I love photos and was determined to not come home with a camera full of pictures of my boyfriend and me alone so looked around and found phototrek, We took the 3 hour tour on the 28th December 2008 and thought it was very good, was a bit apprehensive as could only find reviews on this site and they all seemed positive which made me doubt it! (thats just me ha ha) really glad we did it, ended up with 145 great photos. My least favourite bit was the amount of time we spent in the village and soho, i did feel that this could have been more condensed but dont get me wrong i loved it and would defiantley do it again. Marc was very accomodating and would happily change the order of the tour to suit you if required. |

| What can I say about the photo tour of New York? Marc was fantastic - a really nice guy who knows all there is to know about NY! My wife and I opted for the 2 hour trip on 26 Dec 08. As it was our second last day in NY we wanted to see as much as we possibly could. With Marc we definitely managed to do that. He took us through Times Square, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and finally on to Greenwich Village & SOHO. He even explained how the subway system worked (until then we hadn't been brave enough to give it a go!)
And the photos he took - WOW! They are amazing! Since we have come home we haven't been able to stop looking at them as they capture such happy memories of our trip. I really can't recommend this tour enough. You will have a wonderful time seeing all of the sights and you will have a wonderful set of photos to cherish forever! |

| This tour made our trip even more special and better still unique as our friends back home had never heard of the tour. We saw and heard about New York from a New Yorker's perspective. Mark was punctual, extremely friendly and straight away made us feel comfortable and welcome. We were shown things around New York that we would probably have never seen or done during our trip. This tour is a MUST for any tourist visting New York. Our photo CD was delivered to our Hotel the next day as promised which was fantastic, such great service. The first thing we did when we came back to our home in Scotland was put our CD on, the photos are just fantastic. There is no way we could have got photos like this had we not done this tour. The fact that it was christmas and a lot of our photos had christmas decorations in them was just wonderful. Thanks so much to Mark for all is hard work and please please book this tour if you are visiting. We have already been passing the word round to our family, friends and work colleagues. We loved New York! |
