My husband and I frequently visit NYC and doing it with Marc provided us a chance to capture it forever. Marc worked with us to avoid bad weather. He customized our tour to meet our needs - don't hesitate to ask for certain locations. He will make your tour suit your personal style. Marc provided us with MANY more photos during our two hour tour than we expected. Our two hours flew by but in return we have tons of wonderful pictures. I highly recommend Marc for photographic needs. Don't hesitate to ask him if you have something specific in mind because he does an excellent job of working with you. LOVED THIS TOUR!

We decided to book this as whenever we go on holiday its hard to get nice pictures of both of you when you're in a couple. They are either single snaps or snaps taken yourself of both of you often at an uncomfortable angle. Marc who took us round made us feel at ease and offered great advise about getting the most out of our first trip to NY. Going off the beaten track and not just doing the 'tourist areas' We saw places we would probably never have visited without his help. The photos are great (despite it being windy and my hair being a mess; which Marc could do nothing about!) For a 2 hours session we have over 100 photos to choose from and we are really pleased to have some nice shots of us both for a change! We would certainly reccomend this to anyone wanting to visit NYC.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Zerve. Our guide was very thoughtful and courteous. He called us a few days before to re-schedule as rain was forecast for our original time. We were very impressed by our guide's foresight. He showed us parts of the city that we would not have otherwise seen. The pictures he took were outstanding. He tailored our tour to fit our needs and didn't force anything on us. Great job!

Marc, our ambitious guide was from the go an enthusiastic participant/leader of our photo trek. He offered up suggested itineraries and adjusted as we went along to accommodate our whims and fancies. His knowledge of all aspects of the city were of great service and what he could not answer he had "friends" within texting distance to answer our questions and requests. We navigated the city from Central Park to the SOHO and MArc never led as astray. His suggestions were bang on and his advice excellent. Marc was fantastic, providing us with history and information of the various spots we were visiting and answering questions as we walked and jumped aboard subway trains. We crammed an amazing amount in our three hour trek and saw some spots of NYC that we would not have seen by ourselves. Every area was different and offered an amazing insight into this fantastic city. The photos are brilliant and we have some great memories showing us in some of the iconic locations in the city - Times Square, Central Park, Soho, the Brooklyn Bridge, just to name a few. Had a great time and would recommend this tour to anybody wanting a slightly unusual and behind-the-scenes look and feel of the heartbeat of NYC.

Great photos with iconic New York backdrops and no one is left out of the picture ! Our photographer was a native New Yorker who not only took us on a fact filled whirlwind tour of the city but gave great restaurant recommendations and helped familiarize us with the subways (which are daunting to those of us from the desert southwest). Schedule this tour at the beginning of your trip so you can be "primed" for the rest of your time in the city. Wear really comfortable shoes - I didn't ( really dumb of me !) Worth every cent !

Marc Samuels did an awesome job taking our pictures. He was a great guide as well providing details about the places we were visiting, and showing us how to get around usung the subway. I would totally recommend this tour. It was totally worth the money.

Thank You Marc!! Not only did we get alot of great photos in some of New Yorks famous locations,You gave us some GREAT tips on where to eat and shop. We would NEVER have considered using the subway or the public bus on our own. However once you showed us how easy it was and gave the tourist maps, we used it everyday for a week after the photo tour. Thanks for the tip on the weekly subway pass, it saved us heaps on fares. This was a mother daughter trip and we have some very special photos of us together, otherwise it would have been me taking photos of my daughter and her taking photos of me. This way we are both in the photos. I would recommend this tour to ALL types of groups. Lets face it there is always someone left out of the photo, Because they are taking the photo. We have told so many of our friend how great the tour was. You have a really special tour, Thanks again we had a ball, and now have some really awesome photos of our time in New York City.

We are a couple of french, and doing the Tour was not only good memories with amazing photos of us but Mark, our photographer, taught us a lot. We dont speak english very well and it wasnt a problem. He was kind and spoke slowly. The places we went were perfect for photos and also for culture.Mark showed us how to understand suburbs and the city district interest, to not only do the usual tour tourist do. Thanks to him we discovered places where we would never have gone, restaurants, kind walk and charateristic of New york. When you are with Mark, it's not a boring photograph tour with a man who say"smile"!Mark do unique pics of what you want but knows what to do and when do that. and between two places( for example C. Park and B. Bridge) we walk together talking about our lives, New york life, i mean we talked as he was a friend of a friend. He is not a guide or a photographer he shows you the soul of NYC. You wont regret the tour and i assure you that in beginning our american trip with Phototrek tour we changed totally the way we wanted to visit the city for the days after. With my poor english I will only say from my heart Thank you Mark for the smile, yours and ours during and after the tour And with my husband we have photos, memories for the rest of our life... and to answer people saying why a photographer:of course you can give your camera to someone in the street to get a photo together but nobody will accept to take a picture of you in the middle of the street or with shadow effect. and Mark dont go away with my camera^^!!! Do the tour, you will have fun and a visit with a very cool professional and interesting man!

I took my 17 year old son on a 3 day trip to NYC to thank him for filling in for my husband while he was in AFG. Since it was a once in a lifetime (I mean really; how many sons go on a trip with their moms?) trip, I wanted some pics of him and I together Then I found phototrek tours. I cannot express how happy I am with the photos we had taken. Normally my son's photo looks like a mugshot. Not with the photos Marc took. He really made us feel at home in front of the camera. It does help though, to remind yourself you most likely will never, ever see anyone again in terms of the people around you. ;) Again, A great big thanks to Marc, who made our trip truly memorable

This experience is so worth the money and was the highlight of our trip, we met our guide at the designated time and place, agreed where we were going to go and off we went. It was high energy and so much fun! Marc endeavoured to really help us get to know and embrace New York City. He gave us maps, showed us how to use the subway, recommended various different places.... the list goes on. I would recommend doing this on your first day as it really gives you a feel for the city. The day after our photos were dropped off on disc to our hotel (one copy each!) they are awesome!! Thank you so much!

me and my girlfriend did this tour i had a great time and got some really good photos. i highly recommend it.

Marc was fantastic. He took great pictures, and he taught us how to get around Manhattan. We were able to go so many places other than the normal touristy spots. He helped us not be afraid of just going out and walking around. My 11 year old son and I are here on our first (but not last, I hope) trip to NYC--- This was the perfect tour!! Well worth the money- and the experience was wonderful. (I recommend going for 3 hours on your first day here, let Marc show you the ropes)
