| I didn't tell my girlfriend we would be going on a photo tour of new york city but I planned it out with Marc and he was Great! Marc and I talked a few times through email and over the phone and he helped organize the tour for me. He even helped me pick out a place where I could give my girlfriend a special gift I bought her in a setting away from all the commotion of NYC. Afterwards he directed us to where we needed to go and even got the cd of pictures to us a day later. Marc was great and I highly recommend him. | ||||||

| My husband and I decided to take a private walking tour with Mark during the Christmas holiday. WHAT A BLAST!!!! Mark had main sights that he led us to, but he also allowed us to customize the tour so we would see everything we wanted within 2 hours. We were able to get pictures of us as a couple instead of separate shots since Mark was taking all of the pictures. We will have memories of us together in NYC for years to come. Mark is also very prompt. We received our photos on disc which Mark delivered to our hotel the same day. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone...even if you are a native New Yorker or just visiting. THANKS MARK!!!!!! | ||||||

| Before we left for New York we emailed Marc to submit our preferred sites to visit. His answers were prompt, polite and well informed. He developed our tour itinerary with our desires in mind and his logistical knowledge of what we could achieve in the time limit. It was so fantastic, we will never forget it! We loved that we were being shown around by a local, and even got a great mini-lesson in how US politics works while we rode the subway!! My favourite part of the tour was when we were on the Brooklyn Bridge looking back at the gorgeous skyline and we asked marc about where he was on September 11 and how it affected him.We were on the go the whole time, but never felt rushed. It was perfect! Our photos are amazing and everyone we have shown them to has been so jealous! He even dropped the cd to our hotel that very night. Having never been to a city like NY before, and having only one week to see it, we never would have experienced all those places if not for Phototrek tours. | ||||||

| We only had two days in New York, so we booked the Photo Tour hoping it would make the best use of our time, and that's exactly what happened. Mark was great, knowledgeable, generous with his time, and packed our tour as full as possible. We recommend the tour to anyone with limited time and to first time visitors. Looking at the photos we don't know how he mananged some of the shots, but he did, and we have the CD to prove it! | ||||||

| Mark was a lot of fun- Man did we cover a lot of ground in 2 hours. From Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge . Tons of great pictures that we never could have gotten without him ! Fast paced-wear your walking shoes. Would do it again and would certainly recommend it.I only wish we were able to do it earlier in our vacation-book early! | ||||||

| We were excited to take this tour when we first read about it - the actual experience far surpassed our expectations. I loved the experience. The historical commentary was interesting and being photographed in so many interesting places was exciting. We now have great pictures of ourselves in NY during a magical time of year. | Marc was very knowledgeable about the entirety of the New York City area and provided helpful knowledge that many first time tourists would need: how to use the subway system effectively, restaurant recommendations, sight-seeing recommendations, etiquette, history, etc. His photos were well-done and a CD of the entire shoot was made available to us very soon after the tour was finished. I recommend the experience to anyone who wants to get acquainted with NYC in a short amount of time, and get some quality mementos at the same time. | ||||||

| Myself and our group (4), totally recommend others to take the Photo Tour with Marc. The photos came out great and the shots he got were better than any we would have gotten on our own. Marc was such a nice guy and so knowledgeable about NYC. He not only snapped us in different "hot spots" but also shared with us history about the different areas we were visiting, showed us how to use the subway system and made sure that we were pleased with the photos and locations as well. Our photo tour was very special, as my brother John, proposed to his girlfriend at the end of the tour in Central Park. Marc knew this was planned up front and was sure to capture every moment of it on camera so her family could share in the memories as well. He did just that and did a superb job. If you have family or friends going to NYC soon, the PhotoTrek Tour is a must do and totally worth the $. As others suggest, take it your first or second day in town so you can get the full benefits of in learning your way around with Marc's guidance as well! | ||||||

| I'm lucky. I travel often. This was my 4th trip to NY City and found the photo tour to be a large part to why this was my favorite visit! The experience ran smoothly from the moment we recieved a confirmation call for the next morning with our meeting spot, to the very last moment. I found the guide wanted us to have fun and enjoy the experience and even let us suggest pictures we wanted taken, which would have meaning to us he couldn't know about. Conversation was easy, I felt safe with the guide and he lived up to his promises to show us the hot spots, take the best pictures, and delivered the CD that evening as promised. I came home and have looked through my pictures over and over. I highly recommend taking the tour, it was worth every penny. I know I have memories caught in pictures I would never have been able to get on my own. I only hope I can find this service in other cities...it'll be the first thing I look for when I take any vacation. I've already given family and friends the recommendation not to visit NY without taking this photo tour! My parents have been to NY at least 10 times, and after viewing my photos they agree they have to line this tour up for their next trip. Enjoy NY, and have the pictures to prove it!!! | ||||||

| Myself and my new husband only had a few days of our honeymoon to see New York and doing the tour early on our first day there really made a difference to how we viewed the city. We had the confidence to use the subway everyday afterwards and stroll through streets we probably wouldn't have even thought of otherwise! It's so nice to be able to look back on the pictures and laugh at how worried we were about getting run over by the cyclists on Brooklyn bridge!! | We loved the experience of going around town with Marc.....He was really great and took a load of great pictures. (there wasn't a bad picture in the bunch) My daughter and I would not have these great pictures if we had done them ourselves........for one we don't know the great spots with the views that Marc does....and two we wouldn't of been able to take pictures of us together........and you know getting a stranger to do it and be that good is unlikely!!!!!!! I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) The only tip I will give is be sure to wear comfortable (walking) shoes. We wore hills and our feet didn't feel too good that evening. There is some walking and it isn't much if you are in comfortable shoes, but hills will make you feel like you walked 10 miles. I am so glad we did it and when we go again (with the whole family) I will definately give Marc a call!!!! Well worth it. | When my parents decided to take my boyfriend and I to NY for Thanksgiving, I wanted to make sure it was a great experience for Morgan since he had never been to the BIG Apple. I found PhotoTrek Tours and thought it was perfect for our trip. The day we arrived we met Mark a few hours after we landed. Though it began to drizzle, we decided to go with it and do the tour anyway. Shortly through the tour the rain stopped. The photos came out awesome, and we learned so much from Mark that I did not even know my first time in NY back in 2000. It made it so much easier to have our photos taken rather than asking someone to take them for us. We got a crash course in the sites and let me tell you, I have never walked so much before in my life!. Thanks Mark you were great. I definitely recommend this for anyone who has not been to NY. My parents even loved the pictures and will be coming back in May. They are definitely going to do the tour. GREAT experience and fUN!!!!!!!!!!!
