The Personal Photo Tour was one of the best tours that we booked during our stay in New York. Our photographer was very informative and kept us going at a quick pace. We were able to see many different sights of New York plus get some wonderful photo's. We did the photo tour on our first day so that we were able to go back if we wanted to, to see things for longer if we wanted. I would HIGHLY reccommend that people get these tours done.

We bought this as a surprise for a friend in the UK who was visiting New York with her husband as a surprise for her 40th birthday. It was a great success, as they had a personal guided tour of New York and the photos are a great momento of her special trip. It was a brilliant success and is a fantastic gift for anyone. My Daughter and I took this tour and it was great fun and a wonderful experience. Marc was awesome and his passion for New York shows in the pictures he takes. We are thrilled to have this permanent memory of our trip to New York! We could not recommend Mark Samuels more highly.

Dunno about you, but every time we go somewhere, we end up with lots of shots of the somewhere, but very few shots of us. This unique tour changed that, and we couldn't be happier. I hate to be one of those reviewers who gushes about a purchase, but we were completely satisfied with our recent tour of NYC by PhotoTrek. Highlights: Knowledge: "OK, when this light changes, we'll have 2 minutes to go out into the middle of Broadway to get the photo." Sure enough, light goes red, traffic disappears, and <click>, we've got a shot of us like no other. Flexible: We were meeting friends from the city for dinner, and they ended up heading to our hotel earlier than we planned. The tour was quickly re-arranged, and we ended in Soho instead of at the Bridge. Closer to the hotel, faster to get back. Fast: We left town before we could get the photos in our hands, but 2 days after we got home, a CD showed up in the mail with all the shots. Now we have to figure out how to narrow down our favorites. Lowlights: none, really. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide gave us a bunch of tips and tricks to get around NYC and he took over 130 pictures of us; which we got via mail within a few days! :o)

I took my daughter to NYC for a 16th birthday trip. This was her first time visiting NYC and she knew in advance what she wanted to do---see WICKED! To give her an 'overview" of the city I booked the "Best of New York" tour for our first day there. It was the best thing I could have done. Mark, the tour guide. is knowledgeable and engaging. He keeps the tempo upbeat and hits all of the highlights. On the tour we saw Times Square, Central Park, the Brooklyn Bridge and Soho. This gave her an idea of what she needed to see more of in the rest of our time there. Yes, we both loved WICKED, but we also both agree that the photos and the experience of PhotoTrek's Best of New York Tour were our favorite part of the visit! Thanks, Mark, you do a super job! I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

This tour is one of the memorable highlights of our trip to the USA. Marc was a great guide showing us places we would not have had the opportunity to see on our own. His tours are informative and fun and the photo's are fabulous (which he delievered to our hotel the next day). At the end of our tour Marc recommended a Pizza restaurant for dinner and we were certainly not disappointed....one of the best pizza's we have had. I will certainly be recommending this tour to family, friends and anyone else in Australia. Best 3 hours ever spent!!! Fantastic photo's and memories.......thanks Marc.

This was our first time in New York so we planned our photo trek on the first morning to also help us get orientated around Manhattan. We met Marc as exactly as planned and he really made us feel relaxed with ample opportunity to direct where we went. The tour was great .. not only the photos but also the information Marc gave us as we went around. So a great way to spend 2 or 3 hours in New York especially if like us you are only there for a few days. Phototrektours was recommended to us by a friend and we would have no hesitaton in passing on that recomendation having experienced it ourselves... Enjoy !!

We thoroughly enjoyed our photo tour with Marc! He was very informative about the sights he took us on and took wonderful pictures. We will enjoy these pictures for a lifetime! We do hope to come back in the near future though and will more than likely contact PhotoTrek tours again for another tour and more outstanding pictures to take home with us. We had the 3 hour tour and probably could have done more. He told us several good restaurants to try and at the end of the tour said goodbye to us in front of a pizza place he recommended and boy was it the best pizza we have ever eaten! This is definetely a tour to take to see the sights and have pictures taken with your entire party in them!!! We highly recommend to everyone traveling to the Big Apple!!!

My daughter and I took this tour which was great! .. It was great way to see a lot of NY in a short period of time with a tour guide who knows where to snap all the pictures. Our guide was knowledgeable about NY pointing out different trivia facts along the way .. He gave us suggestions for dinner in the city .. suggestions of other things we should not miss while in NY. I highly recommend the tour!

We booked this tour as a kick-off on day one of our 8-day visit to NY. Having Mark as a guide gave us exactly the flying start we'd hoped for and heaps of pictures to remember our visit by!

Taking a Photo Trek tour is the biggest favour you can do for yourself if visiting New York City. Mark knows the city backwards, is informative, fun to spend time with and takes great shots that you could never get otherwise. The two big advantages: a great orientation to the city - find out about the history and culture, know where to go and where not to go, how to get around on the subway (not as straightforward as it seems but no problem once a local has given you the advice), ask as many questions as you like about NYC and, the second big plus - when it's all over you get a CD full of fantastic photos of you as a couple. Photo Trek tours is a great concept and well worth every cent. Thanks Mark - we love NYC!

This activity was a highlight of the trip when planning everything for New York City and we were not disapointed. Not only was Marc great in giving tips to getting around on the confusing subway system but he was able to point out historical buildings we passed and give tidbits of information on the sites we came across. We love to scrapbook our vacations and with the pictures that Marc captured we are sure to have a fantastic photo album to show our friends and family. It was wonderful getting creative, fun shots without having to ask people to take the picture for us. Marc was even open to suggestions when we saw a location that looked interesting for a quick photo. We particularly wanted to catch some color changes in the leaves and Marc ensured that we would get what few were in Central Park. One suggestion, wear your walking shoes and get ready to move because you are covering a lot of ground in a short period of time. It was a whirlwind two hours but we had a blast and now have the pictures to prove it.

My husband, Duncan and I celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a trip to New York. I booked the Personal Photo Tour for two reasons; firstly so that we would have photos of both of us together in key memorable places in New York and secondly to have a New Yorker guide us around top sites. We were not disappointed. A whistle-stop tour it certainly was but Mark packed an amazing 121 photos into 2 hours. The CD was delivered to our Hotel as promised and we have a permanent reminder of our trip. Mark was a great guide, very patient, informative and fun to be with . We were so pleased to discover New York with him, Soho and The Village particularly.

This tour was fabulous from beginning to end. The tour guide was professional, knowledgeable and fun. He made wonderful suggestions about the places to see in New York and then personalized the tour with beautiful pictures of us at the places we visited. We covered a great deal of the city with ease and it was one of the most exciting and unique tours we have ever experienced. We would definitely do it again.
