Having read a review in our local Brisbane paper about the tour, we decided to give it a try. Marc was very welcoming and gave us a great tour around. We would thoroughly recommend this tour as it allowed us to be photogrraphed together is some great locations as well as give us an orientation tour. Marc showed us how to use the subway so that gave us the confidence to use it later. Marc is very proud of his city and transferred that enthusiaism to us. We came back from New York with tons of great photos. Be ready to zip around Manhattan in two hours. We walked fast!! The tour was a lot of fun and a great concept. We didn't have to worry about taking anymore photos on the rest of the trip.

We are so happy we decided to book with Phototrek tours, we have been overseas before and always got too carried away to worry about taking photos of each other. The hard thing about travelling as a couple is never getting photos that you are both in, now we have the most memorable photos that we can't stop looking at even 6 months down the track. Marc was a lot of fun, he worked so fast that we were able to have photos taken in so many locations. We went on the tour the second day we were in New York which was great as he showed us how to navigate the subway and made us feel comfortable with the city. He gave us great tips on where to eat, where to shop and where to buy cheap tickets. It is honestly the best thing we did while we were in NY and we would love to do it again if we get the chance to go back, we felt like celebrities as Marc would flash away as we were walking down the street. We couldn't think of a better way to view New York then with your very own personal tour guide and the fact that he is your personal photographer makes the experience so much more worthwhile. I was really happy with the quality of the photographs my friend and I received from our tour. Marc was fantastic in re-arranging an alternative time for us after the original date was washed out with rain. We got photos of our trip that we could not have possibly taken ourselves. Into the bargain, we saw more in our 2 hour photo shoot of New York than we have managed to find ourselves. Thanks for the wonderful New York memories Marc.

Our "custom" tour was fabulous - couldn't have asked for more or better! Marc is a great walking partner, and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hours. Watching those double-decker tour buses roll by reminded us how lucky we were to be seeing Manhattan through the eyes of a New Yorker and at ground level!

I am very glad we decided to do the Phototrek tour. It seems expensive up front, but when you break down the cost per picture, it's less than $3 per picture. And it was probably less than that because Marc took more than the advertised number of pics! And we have all pics on a CD so we have them forever! Marc is great! He gave us three different routes to choose from for the Best of NY Tour. He guides you on poses and is open to suggestions. We also took our own pics along the way and he didn't mind. We felt like stars getting our pictures taken by the paparazzi. It was a great experience!!!

We got married in New York and used Marc as our wedding photographer - an amazing little tour to some of the best spots in town (we went to the Brooklyn Bridge, Times Square, Grand Central Station and Central Park). We had a great day, and had 500 really good quality photos delivered on CD to our hotel the next morning. The photographer Marc was knowledgeable, a great guide, and clearly loved his native city. Highly recommended.

I was very excited about this tour (so excited in fact that I booked it 6 months in advance!) and it didn't disappoint. We did the tour back in September and Mark was fantastic. We covered so much ground in 3 hours - started in Times Square for some photos that we never would have got by ourselves then to Central Park, Grand Central, Upper West Side, Brooklyn Bridge, SoHo and we even got some shots on the subway. He taught us how to use the subway and we used it constantly for the rest of our stay. After the tour we felt comfortable in the city, on the subway and got a great set of photos the next day to remember how much we loved New York. Thanks Mark for a great tour!!

Would highly recommend this walking tour as an eye opener to New York. We did the 3 hour tour which enabled us to cover a lot of ground. Marc was very friendly and informative and we will be heading back to a lot of the places we visited for a better look. The photos are amazing - Marc knows exactly where to position you to get the best shot - and were delivered the following day. This is our first trip to New York, and this tour has really helped us focus on where we want to spend our time.

My wife & I, both seniors from London, England & with walking difficulties,were delighted with the way Marc helped us on our 3 hour 'trek' around the Big Apple. We visited Central Park, Times Square & Brooklyn Bridge & by 08.00 hrs the following morning the disc had been delivered to our hotel with approx. 130 super images. To say we were 'knackered' the following day would be an understatement having not walked so far in years, but Marc knew all the short cuts especially on the subway network & was so understanding with our continued stopping & starting. Not really recommended for the elderly or people with mobility problems, but we would not have missed it for the world--the highlight of our stay in New York! My husband and I were in town celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. New York City is one of our favorite places and it was wonderful to have good photos taken to document this trip. No fumbling with a camera and asking strangers to snap a photo of the two of us which may or may not turn out. The photographer knows the city and just the right spot to take each photo. We loved the information he gave us about the different places we went. Highly recommended.
