My husband and I were in town celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. New York City is one of our favorite places and it was wonderful to have good photos taken to document this trip. No fumbling with a camera and asking strangers to snap a photo of the two of us which may or may not turn out. The photographer knows the city and just the right spot to take each photo. We loved the information he gave us about the different places we went. Highly recommended.

We would definitely recommend Photo Trek--wish we could have done it earlier in our trip but we were rained out. Marc, our photographer and guide, consulted us as to which parts of New York we wanted to see so we would not duplicate what we had already seen. As we followed him around he would quickly take pictures of us as he told us about the area we were in. He went at our pace. We were all in good health so we zoomed around and saw pretty much. Since we were leaving the next day, he mailed copies of the pictures to both us and our daughter in another state. Some of the pictures we are not sure of the background--wish we had more information as to what we were standing in front of. At the time, Marc told us but we do not remember all the buildings. We had different poses but the majority of the poses were the same--all 3 lined up in front of an area. Wish we could have had a few more different poses. All in all, Marc was extremely accommodating, fun and helpful. He added much to our trip to New York. Thank you, Marc.

Whether you are a New York native or visting from out of Town; the PhotoTrek Tour is not to be missed. Marc our photographer was very knowledgable and insightful on the sites we visited. On our 2 hour tour we visited the City's Landmark Central Park, Times Square and Grand Central Station. Our CD filled with almost 200 images arrived in no time. The photos came out wonderful and the memories will last us a lifetime. Since this is a tour, you will be doing alot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. It's well worth it!!!

my husband and i booked this tour sept 2008 having never been to to new york we were greeted with not only a professional photographer but a true born and bred new yorker!. our tour guide took us to the best locations for fantastic photo oportunitys and a fantastic informative tour of new york was also included it was fantastic to have someone take great photos without having to ask 20 people along the way. we travel extensively around the world and partake in many tours but i have to say the concept of this tour is right up there with some of the best it was just great. our photos were delivered to our hotel the next morning such great and prompt service. the tour is well worth the money and my husband and i will surely do this tour when we return to this fabulous city thanks for the memories NEW YORK xo Beck & Greg Sydney, Australia

My girlfriend and I were visiting New York together and were looking for a way that we can get lots of pictures together without having to ask others or to do self portaits. Then I found photo Trek Tours online and reserved a spot. This tour was great, Mark, our guide, took us through central park, Time Square, on the subway and the Brooklyn bridge. On top of that he recommened many other activities and areas for us to check out while we were there. The photos are great and Mark was very insightfull, i recommend this tour to all visiting NYC. Very professional, great local knowledge, and came home with fanastic pictures of us both. Great for couples who don't want all their pics to be 'self-portraits'!!! Got to see & learn about heaps of little things we would not otherwise have visited or known about. Tip for anyone else considering taking the photo tour - wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk fast! Had a wonderful time.

My wife wanted to go to New York for her 50th Birthday and I wanted a photographic catalogue for both of us.Marc was reccommended to us and he didn't let us down.The photos are brilliant and his tour second to none.His local take on New York was invaluable and recommendations on where to eat etc .. aren't found in any guide books.we would never have been able to capture the flavour of N Y,without the Trek Tour .( Marek and Julie Krzeminski ,Nottingham,England).

Mark was very friendly and made us feel at ease straight away! He explained what the plans were and we went straight into having pictures taken around big sites in New York! He was very organised in the way he took us around the city! It was great as only being two of us we both were in the picture along with great views behind us! He answered questions we had and taught us how to use the subway which was very helpful and also recommended places to eat and things to do! The photo CD was delivered the next day to our hotel and we would definitely recommend it as an essential part of your visit to New York! We would definitely do it again and extend the 2 hours to the 3 hour tour! It was money well spent! One of the highlights of our trip!

Marc Samuel is amazing. We had our honeymoon last summer (August 2008) and the one thing we recommend to everyone who goes to New York is to do this tour! Not only did we wind up with a disc of incredible photos we could of never captured on our own but we learnt a lot about New York, New Yorkers and afterwards felt confident navigating the subway, the streets and pretty much everything else. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Wear comfortable shoes! Do not make my mistake. Also, if you are new to the city, the earlier in the trip the better. The city really overwhelmed us our first night but after a couple of hours with Marc it was just fantastic. The highlight would be us standing on the street with our arms up in the middle of Times Square, we would have never done that without prompting! I really recommend this tour! Great pictures, great advice. He answered all our "silly" questions too! The disc was delivered to our hotel the next day.

Ce moment fût pour nous un grand moment dans notre voyage de noce car cela permet d'avoir des photos originales que nous ne pouvons pas faire nous même et d'avoir des anecdotes sur New York grâce au photographe. Après visionnage en rentrant, les photos sont magnifiques, nous n'avons pas été déçus de notre choix et de plus, la livraison s'est effectuée sans problème à l'hôtel. This was our fifth visit to NYC, and Marc our photo guide was still able to show us parts of the city we hadn't seen before. Marc was very personable, informative and his enthusiasm ensured we had a really enjoyable tour. The photos were painless and once over the initial concerns of having to stand in the middle of the road in Times Square it was very relaxed. Be ready to travel at speed with Marc... he doesn't hang about! He can also recommend a great shop for home made cannolis! If you have a couple of hours to spare, we would highly recommend this tour. Ask him to end your tour in the west village, where there are some really good restaurants for lunch.

Photographer knew all the hot spot destinations in New York, and operated swiftly. Highly recommend

The tour was fantastic. Mark knew his way around and took amazing pictures in superb locations. We got to see the city and will treasure the excellent pictures. As a single parent it can be difficult to get decent pictures of me and my daughter together when we are on vacation, so this really was the perfect solution. Mark met us in a convienient location and delivered the photos to our hotel within hours. An essential activity for anyone visiting New York!

I booked this tour late and was only able to get a time slot at the end of our trip. I highly recommend that you take this tour!!! But take it at the beginning of your stay if you are new to NY. Our guide/photographer Marc was a wealth of information about the city as well as the bus lines, subways, etc. things you really need to know in traveling about the city. We saws lots, and over 130+ pictures taken of my daughter and I - not just my daughter!!! LOVE the idea and it was that and more!!!!

Not being naturally predisposed to reading city guides and making plans for touring, we selected phototrek to give us a kick-start overview of New York and at the same time have someone else take the photos for a change. Marc's Phototrek acheived exactly that! Marc knew his city and knew it well. He gave us the typical whirlwind tour that covered all the main features and most importantly gave us confidence that we could continue to explore on our own. I think the winning feature of the tour concept was that it was personal. Sure it was clear Marc had done this numerous times before, but for that time, it was only Marc and us. If there was a negative, it was that every photo was dominated by ourselves. A few with us being a little less dominating might have been good. But that is us! At the end of the day the trek was everything it was advertised to be. Rapid overview and numerous photos of us!
