PhotoTrek Tours

We recently visited NYC and reserved a tour with Marc at Photo Trek. It was one of the BEST things we did. Not only was Marc an excellent tour guide and photography, he is personable and knowledgeable about the city and sights. We were unfamiliar with the city and Marc helped us maneuver the complicated subway system. We also received FABULOUS pictures of both of us together which seldom happens. It was wonder to have professional photos taken of our wonderful memories of NYC. We will cherish our memories and photos forever! Thanks Marc, you really made our trip special. This was the highlight of our trip. Marc was excellent! He was very personable, seemed interested in us, and took 150 pictures of us around the city. We had a great time.

We absolutely loved the photo tour. Marc was a wonderful tour guide that helped make you feel comfortable with NYC If you never been to NYC, I would recommend that this is the first tour you take. The pictures are amazing and is able to capture the true beauty of the city. Marc makes you feel totally comfortable from the moment you start.

We would definately recommend taking the "best of New York"photo tour! It was amazing!! Mark was really great and answered all of our questions and was even nice enough to write down some places for us to see on our own. The pictures turned out great. He did a wonderful job capturing us in front of all the great landmarks of NYC!

We really enjoyed our photo tour of New York this past June. Mark was great, the photos are good and we felt very comfortable with the city after our 3 hour tour. We took the tour as soon as we arrived in the city and once we were done we felt great getting around on our own for the next three days - thanks to the tour we took with Mark. I highly recommend it - it's well worth the price. We love the photo memories we have of our trip. Only one strong recommendation - the tour is very fast (Mark wants you to get your money's worth) so wear running shoes - seriously!!

We can't say enough how much we enjoyed this tour. Not only were we able to have great pictures as a remembrance of our time in New York, but the interesting information and other little known "secrets" we could've only learned from a native New Yorker were priceless! Marc was tireless, patient, fun and fearless! We really had an awesome time. In fact, at one point we wanted to have pictures taken at the Brooklyn Bridge, but when we came up from the subway it was raining. Not wasting any time, Marc decided to bring us to Grand Central Station for some pics there. After that we decided to try the bridge again and the rain had gone, the sun was out and we got great pics on the Brooklyn Bridge too! If it wasn't for Marc's quick thinking, we would never have gotten to see Grand Central Station. Thank you for everything Marc, the pictures were great!!! We will definitely book you again for one of your other tours when we come back.

Found this tour on researching things to do in NY. Seemed like something different that I had not seen anywhere else and had great reviews. The reviews were everything and more. Mark makes you feel comfortable and has good knowledge about New York City in between stops. Would highly recommend. Was actually rained out on our original scheduled time but Mark was able to work us in, which I was very glad about.

Oh my goodness, what a fabulous tour experience unlike any other! I happened to stumble upon the PhotoTrek website while planning a trip to New York City with my boyfriend and I'm so glad that I did! Marc was not only a fabulous photographer but a marvelous tour guide. He personlized the tour to what we were looking for and based it on what we had already seen of the city, since we weren't able to have his tour until the end of our trip. It was wonderful to get a native New Yorker's take on the city and learn so much more then we had on any other tour. Marc was able to take wonderful photo's we never would have been able to take with just the two of us and he knew the most perfect spots to take them in. He knew how long red lights would last so he could take pictures of us standing in the middle of the street in Times Square and he knew what subway train would be empty to take wonderful subway pictures! He also seemed to know almost ever vendor and street performer on our route and made sure to show us what wonderful things New York has to offer. He even showed us the pictures as we were going on the tour and made sure it was what we liked! We recieved our photos in the mail 1 day after we returned and were blown away by the quality and how well they captured our trip to the city! My boyfriend and I agree this was by far the best part of our vacation and we are thrilled to have so many photographs of the two us together! We will definitely book another tour with Marc the next time we come to New York City!

An absolutely outstanding tour that we would highly recommend! Matt and I were staying in New york for a fortnight with a 5 day trip to Boston in the middle of it. We had our tour on day three and from the first minute of meeting Mark we both felt so comfortable and at ease with him. We asked Mark to chose where he took us, as we said to him " you're the boss and you know the best places" We visited Times Square, Central Park, went on the subway, Brooklyn Bridge, soho and Greenwich. It was awsome! We felt so relaxed and so famous!!! We could see people looking at us and thinking "who are they" it was just so much fun! Mark dropped our cd of 113 photo's off at our hotel later that afternoon and they were stunning. The close-ups of us against the stunning New York backgrounds are fabulous and to have so many photo's of the two of us is wonderful. To give you an idea of how amazing this tour was.........we went straight back and booked another one for the day before we came home! The second tour was as amazing as the first one, maybe even better because we felt even more at ease with Mark, he had become more of a friend by this point. We had our own ideas this time and Mark was quite happy to fall in with them and also to make a few suggestions of his own. We went to Grand Central Terminal, (ask him about the whispering wall!) Bryant Park, Ground Zero, The South Street Seaport and others that I just can't remember at this point. Please, if you have the chance to do this tour then do it!!! You will feel a million dollars, you will have awesome photo's of ALL people in your group, you'll get a private tour of New York by a native New Yorker and you'll get to make a damn good friend too!!! What more could you ask for?? Mark, if you're reading this............................Told you I'd write you a good one didn't I! The photo tour was great! Our guide (Mark) was well informed about the sights of the city and took us all over. My husband and I were on a trip alone. So having pictures of us together around the city was great.

PHOTO TREK TOURS IS AN ABSOLUTE GEM! MARC MADE US FEEL SO COMFORTABLE AND MADE IT SO FUN, WE COULD NOT HELP BUT SMILE FOR EVERY PHOTO! THIS WAS OUR FIRST TRIP TOGETHER TO NYC (AND WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT) AND THE PHOTOTREK TOUR WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR 4 DAYS IN NEW YORK! WE WILL DEFINITELY DO THIS AGAIN ON OUR NEXT TRIP TO NYC, WE'LL JUST DO A DIFFERENT TOUR! MARC WAS FANTASTIC, WE CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH!

Great experience across the board. The four of us would all recommend the tour to anyone that is coming to New York for the first time. We took the tour on our first day there and it set us up for the rest of the vacation. We were comfortable using the subway after the three hours were up and went back to the neighborhoods that we walked through for dinner. The pictures turned out great and were delivered to our hotel room the next day; we were able to check them out on the hotel computer which was a lot of fun. It is well worth the money and one of the highlights of our time in New York! Absolutely recommended.

Marc was very nice. He was also very helpful in explaining how the subway works. I do wish we would have had a little more time so he could have taken more pictures but we were very happy with the service.
