PhotoTrek Tours

We use to live in NYC. We returned for a visit and to elope. We wanted photos of our time in NYC and found Photo Trek Tours on the web. Marc did a great job and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Since our plans did not quite fit the tour description I called and left a voice mail requesting a call back before booking. Marc was prompt in responding and provided me with guidance for booking the tour to fit our needs. Even the booking service Zerve, provided unexpected customer service. I purchased two tours on back to back days for what we had planned. A Zerve customer service representative called me to make sure I had intended to book both tours because they were booked about 15 minutes apart. The Zerve representative wanted to make sure I had not accidentally duplicated the booking with the second purchase. I personally feel this is a sign of quality customer service. During our NYC photo tour Marc had all the bases covered maneuvering the city and catching some great pictures of our time in NYC. Marc was also helpful and informative when we went to city hall to get married. He even was the witness for our ceremony. The photo cd's of our trip were delivered right to our hotel before we departed NYC. I doubt anyone will be disappointed with Marc's service.

It was just the two of us, so it was wonderful to have someone take pictures of the BOTH of us instead of either having just one of us in all of the pics, or bugging other people to take pictures that may or may not be any good. The pictures are beautiful. Also, being first timers to NYC, he gave recommendations about certain areas and restaurants we would personally enjoy and also REALLY helped us learn the subway system. That was one of the best parts of this tour. We learned so much that we would have had no idea about, if it weren't for him. (By the way Marc~ if you are reading this, we ROCKED the subway system the days after your tour thanks to you!! Marc is a very professional photographer and make yourself feeling comfortable in taking some shots all around the city. For someone that is looking to have some nice puctures to bring back home, pls go ahead

Me and my husband totally enyoyed this tour.....it was fantastic. Not only do you get a look around the city from an insider who can tell you things a book or map can't.......you also get your magical moments captured on film. From a couples point of view, most of our pictures was me here, Dave there but with this all the photos are of you together, enjoying the experience!!! If you fancy a tour thats a bit different and that is no-where else in the world then this is the tour for you!! Have fun, let us know your thoughts :-) Danielle x

I didn't tell my girlfriend we would be going on a photo tour of new york city but I planned it out with Marc and he was Great! Marc and I talked a few times through email and over the phone and he helped organize the tour for me. He even helped me pick out a place where I could give my girlfriend a special gift I bought her in a setting away from all the commotion of NYC. Afterwards he directed us to where we needed to go and even got the cd of pictures to us a day later. Marc was great and I highly recommend him.

My husband and I decided to take a private walking tour with Mark during the Christmas holiday. WHAT A BLAST!!!! Mark had main sights that he led us to, but he also allowed us to customize the tour so we would see everything we wanted within 2 hours. We were able to get pictures of us as a couple instead of separate shots since Mark was taking all of the pictures. We will have memories of us together in NYC for years to come. Mark is also very prompt. We received our photos on disc which Mark delivered to our hotel the same day. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone...even if you are a native New Yorker or just visiting. THANKS MARK!!!!!!

Before we left for New York we emailed Marc to submit our preferred sites to visit. His answers were prompt, polite and well informed. He developed our tour itinerary with our desires in mind and his logistical knowledge of what we could achieve in the time limit. It was so fantastic, we will never forget it! We loved that we were being shown around by a local, and even got a great mini-lesson in how US politics works while we rode the subway!! My favourite part of the tour was when we were on the Brooklyn Bridge looking back at the gorgeous skyline and we asked marc about where he was on September 11 and how it affected him.We were on the go the whole time, but never felt rushed. It was perfect! Our photos are amazing and everyone we have shown them to has been so jealous! He even dropped the cd to our hotel that very night. Having never been to a city like NY before, and having only one week to see it, we never would have experienced all those places if not for Phototrek tours.

We only had two days in New York, so we booked the Photo Tour hoping it would make the best use of our time, and that's exactly what happened. Mark was great, knowledgeable, generous with his time, and packed our tour as full as possible. We recommend the tour to anyone with limited time and to first time visitors. Looking at the photos we don't know how he mananged some of the shots, but he did, and we have the CD to prove it!

This is a must do if you want great pictures to remember your trip to NYC. Marc is great to be with and takes phenominal shots. I will be recommending PhotoTrek to anyone I know headed to New York. Thanks for everything Marc!!!! Adam and Kristin from Kentucky

Mark was a lot of fun- Man did we cover a lot of ground in 2 hours. From Manhattan to Brooklyn Bridge . Tons of great pictures that we never could have gotten without him ! Fast paced-wear your walking shoes. Would do it again and would certainly recommend it.I only wish we were able to do it earlier in our vacation-book early!

We were excited to take this tour when we first read about it - the actual experience far surpassed our expectations. I loved the experience. The historical commentary was interesting and being photographed in so many interesting places was exciting. We now have great pictures of ourselves in NY during a magical time of year. I highly recommend the Best of New York - Personal Photo Tour!

Marc was very knowledgeable about the entirety of the New York City area and provided helpful knowledge that many first time tourists would need: how to use the subway system effectively, restaurant recommendations, sight-seeing recommendations, etiquette, history, etc. His photos were well-done and a CD of the entire shoot was made available to us very soon after the tour was finished. I recommend the experience to anyone who wants to get acquainted with NYC in a short amount of time, and get some quality mementos at the same time.
