The Personal Photo Tour was one of the best tours that we booked during our stay in New York. Our photographer was very informative and kept us going at a quick pace. We were able to see many different sights of New York plus get some wonderful photo's. We did the photo tour on our first day so that we were able to go back if we wanted to, to see things for longer if we wanted. I would HIGHLY reccommend that people get these tours done.

Marc out guide was very efficient and enthusiastic and gave priority to our requests for locations to suit our personal needs.

My husband and I visited NYC in December 2012 for our 15 year anniversary and wanted to have pictures of our special trip. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how awesome this photo tour was. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it and would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Marc was right on time and was very professional. We received the pictures he took the very same day. The pictures turned out SO BEAUTIFUL! The hardest part will be trying to decide which picture to have framed because all the pics turned out so beautiful! Marc goes as fast or as slow as we wanted to go. He provided us with history of everything we saw and also showed us how to use the subway. My husband and I had a wonderful time!

Mark was fabulous. He made me comfortable. I felt safe and welcome in a strange city especially a single female alone in NYC. He focused my tour to my likes and asked me questions throughout to keep me enjoying myself. Money well spent in an expensive city. He had lots of local tips and a great charasmatic personality. Marc joined us on a tour of the city to capture our wedding day with our friends and family both locals and out of town guests. He was professional, efficient, knowledgeable and entertaining. I booked this tour as was travelling alone and wanted to be sure I got some good photos of me in the city to remember my trip by. It was raining the morning of my trip and Marc gave the option of if to go ahead or not, I choose to do the trip and am very glad I did as yes it rained lots but I still love my pictures. Marc gave tips on where to eat and advised how the subway works. He was very knowledgeable and flexible on how the trip went tailoring it to what I wanted to see. Would definitely recommend this tour.

I took my 16 year old son, Jason, on our first Father/Son trip to NYC for a New Years Eve in Times Square adventure. We are from Mississippi and neither of us had ever travelled to NYC so, honestly, we were more than a little nervous coming to this giant city. On vacations in the past we would always have to take pictures of us individually or together at arms length. That's no fun so we decided to try out the Best of New York tours, see the city and have some great shots made of BOTH of us. To make the most of the journey we opted for the three hour tour, which I highly recommend you do if you really want to see NYC at it's heart! Marc from PhotoTrek Tours met us at our hotel right on time and off we went. Marc is a fantastic guy! Very friendly and knowledgeable! He took us all over the city, showing us how to navigate the subway system and learn the street grids. We walked through and learned all about SOHO (which I now know means "South of Houston - pronounced How-sten), Greenwich Village, Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge. While planning this trip we knew we wanted to see the Empire State, the Statue of Liberty and all of the typical New York sites. Well, we did that but the Best of New York tour showed us much more than that. We truly saw the Best of New York. We saw the heart of the city in the Greenwich Village neighborhoods with the small shops and restaurants. We walked under the arches of the Brooklyn Bridge. We ate the best pizza I have ever tasted at Bleeker St Pizza ( highly recommended by Marc and now me). It was like I told Marc, Times Square may be the "shock" but the Village and SOHO were the "Ahhhh!" We rode the subways and took photos in Times Square with the hundreds of yellow cabs whizzing by. I can honestly say that our trip would not have been so successful or been as much fun if we had not taken this tour. As promised, Marc brought a CD of all of our photos to our hotel the next morning and, now that I am home and have had time to review them, all I can say is WOW! Dozens and dozens of great shots that my son and I will always cherish! If you have never been to New York and want a great way to see the sites (and more!) and have some great pictures and memories then you will be missing out if you don't book a PhotoTrek Tour! Thanks again Marc for an amazing adventure! 5 stars doesn't come close to the rating you deserve! If I could leave 10 that still might not be enough!! Excellent tour!! Thanks! After reading the reviews about this Phototrek Tour on various websites, myself and my boyfriend decided to book this tour as part of our New York Trip Itinerary. We were not disapointed; it was possibly the best thing we did on our holiday. We were tired of going away with just the two of us and never beng able to get decent photos of the pair of us with the backdrop of our holiday. This tour overcame this and provided us with nearly 150 high quality photos that we would never have got on our own. Marc was an amazing source of knowledge and gave us plenty of ideas of things to do in NYC that are not part of the normal "Touristy" things to do. Overall this tour was money well spent and I have some amazing photos to remember our fantastic holiday by!!!

The tour was more than we could have EVER imagined. Marc was polite, talented, knowledgable, OUTSTANDING photographer and quite the trooper...it snowed almost the entire time of our tour!!! Being from TEXAS, that was an unbelievable bonus. HE'S THE BEST...

Do this when you first get to NYC. Before you get blisters from all the walking you'll do while in NYC. Be ready to cover a lot of ground, and quickly, while having pictures taken of you by your personal paparazzi who is also a native Manhattanite. Mark will point out sites in the city that most tourist would never see on their own. Hanging off cables while on the Brooklyn Bridge are our favorite shots.

This is a great service for folks new to the city and looking to have a few quick pics in front of some world-famous landmarks. The photographer was personal and professional. Due to the hurried natured, the majority of photos come out looking less than professional- but there are enough money-shots to make it worth your while.

Our first vacation in New York, me and a friend had the pleasure of taking the Best of New York city walking tour and absolutely loved it. Our personal guide Kennedy was terrific! Kennedy provided exceptional photography along with alot of knowledge about New York City. The combination made this tour and our trip to New York a truly memorable experience. This was a great way to capture the city with my daughter and actually be in the pictures. I am always the designated photographer and rarely end up in any vacation photos. Now I have beautiful pictures with my daughter that I will cherish forever. The photographer customized the walking tour based on what we wanted to do and was flexible and informative. I was concerned that the walking might be too much for my daughter who is nine, but it was fun! We had such a great time and the pictures are really wonderful.

The photo tour was more than we both expected!! Marc met us at our hotel first where we decided together what spots we should go to. Marc, thank you so much for the priceless photos. We are using them in a photo book and since we got engaged that weekend to the tour and the photos were a great way to commemorate our trip. We would recommend this photo tour to anyone visiting New York. It will be the highlight of your trip, not to mention you'll have tons of pictures of your group professionally taken!!
