Ein gelungenes Projekt und eine schöne Geschenkidee! Wir hatten die 2 Stunden Tour mit Marc gebucht, welche auch absolut ausreichte. Leider hatten wir uns viele Lokalitäten ausgesucht (TS, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Parc, Meatpacking), so dass die Zeit sehr knapp war und Marc im Schnelldurchgang die Fotos anfertigte. Hierdurch blieb keine Zeit die Fotos zu begutachten und ggf. ein neues anzufertigen. Daher war auch ein großteil der Bilder auf der CD später nicht "verwertbar" ( Augen zu, unpassender Gesichtsausdruck etc.). Aus den Rahmenbedingungen holte Marc jedoch noch 30 gute Bilder heraus. Wir würden die Tour wieder buchen da es unvergessliche Bilder geworden sind. Unsere Empfehlung: weniger Orte, mehr Zeit für die Bilder und Einstellungen.

The tour was an excellent way to capture the hotspots of New York when you're traveling with a significant other. We would never have been able to bother passerbys to take this many photos of us, and quality of these photos were top notch. We were able to get 100+ photos in 5 locations over the course of the two hour tour. Definitely a great experience!

I can't say enough good things about our tour with Marc...we had the best time! My husband and I were only in the city for a day and wanted to see as much as we could...Marc did not disappoint! We opted for the 2 hour tour since we had limited time but in that 2 hours, we saw more than we could've ever imagined! We learned so much about the city too-Marc really knows his stuff! Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to a more beautiful city! The photos are proof of just how amazing New York City is, and of how much fun we had on our tour! We learnt our way around the city, how to use the subway and got some hot tips along the way of cool places to hang out. It all came in handy for the duration of our stay in NYC. I've told all my family and friends that if they ever intend on traveling to NY the Best of New York photo tour is a MUST! Everyone i've had the opportunity to show my photos to are in awe and that includes myself. All the photos are of great quality and would be almost impossible to get by ourselves. Love the tour, Marc is awesome, cant say it enough how enjoyable it was. Our trip to NY wouldn't have been complete without it!

I don't know who gets to see this review but like everyone says marc is an enthusiastic individual, who gets you in the know of things such as getting around the metro and such. On our day of booking, the weather was raining all day but we managed to get a 2hour session from 4pm -6pm. We went around a lot of places such as times square, brooklyn bridge, central park and soho. It was very fast paced whether thats marc's nature or the rain I dont know but it was very fast and as such unfortunately I must mention that in a number of our photos we barely had a moment to pose and the shot was taken, that didn't bother me that much but what did bother me was a good proportion of shots were for some reason out of focus. Me and my wife were the subjects obviously and on a quite a good few we are out of focus or slightly blurry which was disappointing. My recommendation is to slow down and make sure you get the shot, I mean not perfection but at least in focus photos for the money paid. John C

This tour surpassed our expectations! Our photographer Marc was great in showing us around, teaching us to use the subways, and of course great in a taking more than enough pictures. We were in some very populated areas on the tour and Marc took pictures so it looked like we were the only ones there. I was so happy to have some pictures of my fiancé and myself together on vacation. This is a tour we will definitely participate again when we visit New York to ensure we have pictures together. I do recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip so Marc has a chance to help you orient yourself around the city. We felt like celebrities being followed around by paparazzi, it was so much fun!

This was my second time on the PhotoTrek Tour. Mark took that into account, and took us to a lot of New York we hadn't seen before. We loved the tour, and the pictures were a wonderful addition.

Just got back a view days ago and our photo's are stunning! Marc's a great guy, fantastic photographer and he really loves the city and it's beautiful sites. He can tell you a lot about historical buildings and other sites and show you anything you'd like to see. So don't be shuy and just ask him if you want to know or see something specific. The photo quality is good enough to enhance your pictures and the speed of delivery is mostly within 24 hours. Since we were in NYC for just 2 more days this was perfect. For people that don't like to get their picture taken, this is a great tour to book, because you're just walking down the streets, going on the subway, talking a lot and make jokes, it's almost as if the photographer is part of your group. At first we got worried that we would feel awkward, but we really didn't. I can't tell you enough how much we've enjoyed this phototour! Great pictures and lots of sightseeing. The perfect way to cover your citytrip! Especially when you don't have a lot of time or when it's your first time in the city. We'll definately come back to New York and we're 100% sure of making a second phototour with Marc! Once again we bow to Marc, all the way from the Netherlands. See you in a couple of years! My roomate and I went to NYC for Spring Break and neither of us had ever been. So, we wanted to see all of the major sites, and since there were only 2 of us, we figured it would be hard to get great pictures of the both of us together at the sites. While online booking our trip, we saw the ad for the PhotoTrek Tour and decided to do it. It was the best decision ever! We got to see Central Park, Times Square, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Soho. It was so EXCITING! And the photographer was friendly and so helpful! And the pictures turned out AMAZING!!! It was well worth the Money and I would recommend it to anyone who has never been!

It was AMAZING!! A group of 4 girls did this for my sisters bachelorette. I brought funny sunglasses and fake teeth, hats and wigs - so we could dress up and really let loose. Marc was pretty awesome and a really great guy - and the perfect guide. We were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt afterwards. Highly recommend this for families, couples, friends, and for outtings like a bachelorette - birthdays - whatever! It's a must do in NYC. I grew up right outside of NYC, and we had never seen the city like that - it was AMAZING and we all had a blast. Best photos ever!

This is something that anybody going to New York should do. We decided to take the tour as it was our first time in New York and also because when there's just two of you, it's difficult to get a lot of pictures together. The pictures that Mark took were brilliant and we ended up with 150 photos, well over the 75 we were initially expecting. Mark turned up 10 mins early and was really friendly and approachable. He was really informative and even showed us how to get around on the subway, which we then ended up using all week! I'd recommend taking the tour early on in your trip as it really helps you find your way around. Mark also dropped the photos disc off at the hotel desk as arranged. We had great time and the pictures we have brought back are fantastic! Mark does a brilliant job and has allowed us to bring back really good photos of a very memorable holiday. Thanks again Mark and hope the New York winter starts to warm up for you soon!

I truly enjoyed my Photo Trek tour with Marc. He gave us a great tour and was so easy to travel with around the city. I was really afraid that my boyfriend wouldn't like to tour and having to stop and pose for pictures, but it wasn't awkward at all! He actually ended up really enjoying it and loves the pictures. I am so glad that we went on this tour, because we saw some great spots of NYC that we might of missed and we got a lot of great pictures that we will cherish for years to come. I thought that this was the best purchase that I made on the entire trip! My family and friends have thoroughly enjoyed our pictures. If you want great pictures and a really great tour, don't hesitate, sign up for this tour! You will not be disappointed!

I love photos and was determined to not come home with a camera full of pictures of my boyfriend and me alone so looked around and found phototrek, We took the 3 hour tour on the 28th December 2008 and thought it was very good, was a bit apprehensive as could only find reviews on this site and they all seemed positive which made me doubt it! (thats just me ha ha) really glad we did it, ended up with 145 great photos. My least favourite bit was the amount of time we spent in the village and soho, i did feel that this could have been more condensed but dont get me wrong i loved it and would defiantley do it again. Marc was very accomodating and would happily change the order of the tour to suit you if required.

What a fantastic experience!! Everything, from the booking to the actual tour itself was flawless, absolutely everything I could have wanted. Seriously, this is the best idea ever for vacationing friends/couples who have the problem of never getting to be in your own pictures! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the sights and the city. Even past just the usual "tour guide script," he answered all of our questions, and was completely accommodating and customized the tour to cover the places we wanted to see. When I return to the city in the future with other friends or family, I will definitely insist on this being one of our activities again. Pictures were fantastic, and were ready the next day! Overall, a completely amazing experience, and one that I will definitely be doing again.
