Marc of PhotoTrek Tours was a wonderful addition to my husband's 60th birthday celebration. Marc took wonderful pictures of our family and NYC and was easy to be with. He was flexible and happy to do whatever it took to make the afternoon enjoyable and personal to us. I would definitely recommend PhotoTrek Tours.

Marc is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and professional. We were told about Marc from our brother and it was the best advice we received for our visit to New York. In our 3 hours with Marc we learnt so much about NY, saw so much of New York's icons and interesting places, and found out where to eat, how to get around and other tips which we used to make our trip memorable and smooth sailing. We have already given the same advice to people travelling to NY. It is a MUST DO as soon as you land in New York to give you the bearings and perspective of this beautiful and vibrant city. We had a gut called Marc Samuels take us around, he was polite, easy to get on with, very knowledgable and so pleased we did the tour, highly recommend even if you have been to Ny before, he takes you to the real hearts of NYC, 10/10

Highly reccommend the photo trek tour. My husband and I love to document our travels with photos but rarely have pictures of both of us together. We are very proud of the many professional pictures that were taken while viewing popular sights in the city. This tour was definitely one of the highlights of our New York trip!

Large group of 8, which was maybe a bit much but well handled. We had a great time and enjoyed the tour and are now enjoying the photos. My adult children loved the day and are thankful we did this. Good way to get an introduction to subway s;ystem and much that NYC has to offer. Thankyou

Absolutely fantastic tour! While you get plenty of keepsake photos of the city, you learn the bet places to visit and how to get there. Well worth it.

PhotoTrek Tours was PHENOMENAL! My wife and I had the best time. The tour guide/photographer offered wonderful recommendations about photo spots as well as must-try restaurants and other places. The tour made the rest of our trip really memorable as it brought instant memories with the photos in addition to the personal touch of an individualized walking tour. This is a MUST for anyone visiting the city!

As first time visitors to NYC my wife and I wanted to take a tour that would show us several parts of this wonderful place. Marc was a great tour guide and was full of information about the city, the landmarks, and great places to eat. All of that would normally make for a great tour, but throw in the fact that you then get to take home photos of yourself at all of these great places and it puts the tour on a whole other level. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits NYC.

What a kick. We thought we were going on a tour where we would take the photos of the best of New York City. We never would have signed up if we knew it was us in the spot light. Had the best day ever. Our photographer was great, filled with interesting information about the places we stopped for photos. The photos are wonderful, capturing our love of New York City. Definitely worth it.

It was a great way to show someone what dirversity is in NY City in a very short period of time, while giving them a very nice record of the event to take home. I would do this tour again and recomend it to others. Next time I would go for a longer amount of time for I feel there was a lot more to see. Thanks Joe Halligan

Wonderful customized tour by Marc! My brother and I wanted to take our 77 year old mother to NYC to cheer her up after an extremely tough year healthwise. I asked Marc if we could tailor our tour towards getting holiday photos of the 3 of us while proceeding slowly through Midtown at a comfortable pace for my mom who broke her ankle last winter. We emailed back and forth a few times to make sure we understood each other and the tour was set! Marc talked with us before we began to be sure we still had the same priorities as when I booked. Several times during our 2 hours together he briefly checked with me to be sure we were getting what we wanted as "we were paying a lot of money" and he wanted to be sure we were happy. In this day and age of shoddy to no customer service, it was a pleasure to be with someone so knowledgeable whose goal was to exceed our expectations. We were so pleased I created an 18 picture holiday card for my mom to send out. I had hoped we could get 2-3 good pictures to use for a photo card, but the reality was I had a hard time narrowing it down to less than 20 to use on the card! Everyone who has seen the photos has commented favorably, including my cousin who had a professional portrait studio for a number of years. I would highly recommend touring with Marc!

Do not second guess on doing this tour. Its worth every penny. We came from California and never been to New York and let me tell you it was a breeze to get to see the real new york through the eyes of a local person and the pictures make it that much for memorable. You wont be disappointed with his services. He was very helpful and his pictures speak for them selfs. We did the 2 hour tour and he took over 100 pictures that we will cherish for ever. After the tour you will be able to see New York different. We covered so much ground and got to know places we would never find.. 5 ***** starts for this tour..

Was one of the best parts of my holiday. Got to see parts of the city would not have seen without the guide. The service is amazing Marc put us at ease straight away thought I would of felt silly having photos taken with everyone looking but Marc was very professional and gets amazing pictures very quickly. Would recommend this tour 100%!! Would say to do it early on in your holiday to make the most of all the inside information the guide gives to enhance your holiday!
