PhotoTrek Tours

A friend recommended PhotoTrek to me but I was skeptical at first. Am I glad I listened! This was my 1st trip to NYC - brought my daughter to celebrate her graduation from high school. We knew NOTHING about the city! Marc showed us not only how to ride the subway but showed us how to purchase the metrocard and how much to buy. He took us places we would otherwise have missed (downstairs of the Plaza Hotel, inside Trump Tower, different neighborhoods, shopping, etc.) He even told us what to avoid, how much to pay for things, and where to buy cheap water :) We now have pictures of BOTH of us TOGETHER instead of a bunch of single photos! This is a must for 1st timers, trust me!!! No other tour will give you this much practical information, AND give you priceless photos to boot. P.S. Wear comfortable shoes....LOTS of walking.

Marc's tour gave us an excellent sampling of NYC! He is very knowledgeable, shared lots of information with us and took us to some great places off the beaten path. We didn't stay long at any one place but we did get a feel for where we wanted to return and spend more time. We had a fantastic morning!

Our Photo Trek Tour was wonderful! It was a great way to get many photos of our mom/daughter trip. Our favorite part of the experience was simply learning about different areas of the city and being able to ask questions about recommended restaurants, best routes, etc. The two hours flew by way too quickly. It was professional yet casual and fun. This needs to be available in more cities!

My 12 year old daughter & I wanted to have photos of us together on her first trip to NYC, and I didn't want to have to keep asking strangers to take our pictures. Plus I didn't know where the best vantage points for pictures would be. Marc was great. He worked with us on the itinerary, and paced the tour to her stamina. We also got quick glimpses of areas I wasn't already familiar with from my business trips to NYC. He delivered the CD the next day. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour and we got a ton of great pictures. Kennedy gave us several restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations for the remainder of our trip too. Photo disk was promptly delivered to our hotel the next day. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

I took my 17 year old son on a 3 day trip to NYC to thank him for filling in for my husband while he was in AFG. Since it was a once in a lifetime (I mean really; how many sons go on a trip with their moms?) trip, I wanted some pics of him and I together Then I found phototrek tours. I cannot express how happy I am with the photos we had taken. Normally my son's photo looks like a mugshot. Not with the photos Marc took. He really made us feel at home in front of the camera. It does help though, to remind yourself you most likely will never, ever see anyone again in terms of the people around you. ;) Again, A great big thanks to Marc, who made our trip truly memorable

This was such a great tour and I recommend it to anyone who wants to walk around the best parts of city with an informative, engaging tour guide and then be given a stack of great photos at the end of it to commemorate your time in NYC. The photos were great and the tour was great too. Marc is excellent and I will definitely be doing this tour again if I am ever back in NYC!

My friend and I loved Marc! He was a great guide and knew exactly what shots to get of us! We have a CD full of great photos of us. Normally when we travel we have individiual pictures, now we have over 75 photos of the two of us. Plus they are great pictures! Marc has a great eye and knows exactly what shots we were looking for. We had a blast as we walked throughout the city! He even gave us some hot spots to visit. Thanks for the life long memories that have...and can frame!

We were only in New York for four days and we wanted to do it all AND have the pictures to remember it all. This tour is great, especially if you are traveling as a couple. It can be hard to constantly ask people to take pictures. And there's no guarantee they will turn out well. Traveling 12 hrs to New York, we wanted to make sure we took away some memorable shots. We were very pleased with the pictures. We definitely would not have some of the images we do without this tour!! It's

I've visited New York City a number of times and it's still my favourite city in the world. What I was looking for on my latest trip was something different to do and see and learn about the great city. I found Phototrek Tours and was introduced to Marc and easily had the best days of our trip with him. His knowledge of the city was second to none and helped me fill in the blanks in the knowledge I already had. The photographs he took during our tour were very professional and his flexible approach helped shape a unique and memorable day.

I was sick and couldn't go, but my wife went and took pictures and had a ball. She was also excited to learn tips about New York. Pictures turned out great!

The tour was awesome and so were the pictures. It makes a great gift as well.

Would highly recomend this activity, we had a great time and the photos were good even though the weather was not as it rained for most of the day.
