PhotoWalks Tour of Freedom Trail

Tour offers a very friendly presentation that is flexible and considerate of all who participate. A very rewarding experience.

My husband and I took my father on a phototour of the Freedom Trail/North End for his 65th birthday. Our guide, Saba, was wonderful. She was very personable, pleasant and knowledgable; not only in the area of photography, but of Boston history too. We learned so much and will use the photo tips again and again. Photowalks tour of Boston was great. Saba was informative and friendly. She gave a history of the sites on the Freedom Trail while combining photo tips. It was easy to follow her suggestions. I am an avid traveler and photographer. She really opened up my mind to different perspectives in travel photos. She also helped us in pointing out details I rarely notice. It was a terrific way to spend my afternoon. I can't wait to come back and complete some of her other tours of Boston.

This tour took me to places I never knew existed. The guide was very helpful and showed me how to take pictures creatively.

For my sister's birthday, I wanted to give her an experience rather then a gift. She loves history and I not so much. We have lived in Massachusetts 45 minutes from the city for over 30 years and have never done the freedom trail. Since she loves history so much I decided to suck it up and go on the tour. But me being more of a creative type thought that I could make it more enjoyable for myself by doing the Photowalk tour, at least that way I could get something out of it. Saba did a great job combining history and creativity in the tour. Though I did learn about some of the history of Boston and I was actually not bored, I also took over 120 pictures, most of them being frame worthy. I have taken granted the beauty that is held in this gorgeous city and it took looking through the lens of my camera to remind me what I have within a quick drive. I am by no means a photographer, I enjoy beautiful things and I can point and click my camera, nothing fancy. However with Saba's help you would think I was a professional. She made great suggested shots and was good at keeping us moving and allowing me to spread my creative wings a little with my shots. I would recommend this tour to those who want something fun to do that is looking for a more unique experience. I would love to do it again and try a different area! Thanks Saba we will be back!

My husband and I had taken a Photowalk of Back Bay earlier in the year, and enjoyed it, so when our niece who loves to take photos came for a visit, we signed up for a Photowalk of the Freedom Trail. Learned a great deal about our history and how to effectively photograph the sites that document it, while thoroughly enjoying a great walk around our fabulous city of Boston. Saba is great, very knowledgeable, and super patient with camera novices like me. Will definitely sign up for another photowalk and tell our friends about it too.

The tour was well paced and hit the most important parts of the Freedom Trail. It was enough time to improvise with picture taking and Saba's comments were helpful for taking various types of shots. Thank you!

The tour guide (Saba?) was extremely pleasant and knowledgable about the area we toured (Beacon Hill). And, though both my husband and I are active photographers - for both family events and while traveling - we learned so much. I just did not believe I would learn so many neat tricks. I can't wait to take my next vacation to try them out!
