PhotoWalks Tour of Freedom Trail

We loved the tour Saba gave of points of interest along the red brick Freedom trail in Boston MA. She provided interesting tips and vantage points for stunning photos of historic city icons , as well as interesting historic commentary along the way. We plan on returning this winter to take her Back Bay tour and hope we can have some snowy scenes to bring home .

I really enjoyed this tour with Saba, and my pictures of Boston improved after this walk. I am an advanced amateur and though I would not call this a technical tour, I still learned some great tips that will stay with me for life. I so enjoyed the history of Boston that Saba is well versed in. I found very interesting the "out of the box" shots that she showed us how to take. Even if you only have a small point and shoot camera, you will not feel overwhelmed.

I received a great history lesson from Saba and also great photo tips. I took many great photos - the only thing I had a hard time adjusting too was staying on track to take the pictures of things Saba was touring. As we walked on the tour, I wanted vere off and take photos of other things I found interesting but felt as thought I needed to keep going to complete the tour. I recommend it and recommend you back track and take any photos of things you saw along the way. Saba was great and was very patient with me if I decided to take photos of other things along the way.

Saba is very knowledgable and helpful! A nice mix of history and photography. Accomodates all ages.

A great time learning about the history of the city and country. Learning different ways to take pictures made the rest of our vacation more exciting and used the tips to take alot better pictures of other places we went. This is a great way to start your time in Boston so you can see the sites and then can go back and the things you saw you can go get a closer look and also makes picture taking more fun.

I recently was in Boston on a business trip, and took this tour to provide an overview of the city and snap some photos too. I wasn't sure what to expect as I am not a photographer, but am thrilled to report that it was a great time. I really enjoyed that the guide highlighted those small details that you often walk right past, and then helped each of the tour attendees incorporate those details into their photos. Great concept, highly recommended, plus now I have some great photos of my visit!

Great opportunity to get out and see the historic sites in Boston that commemorate the "firsts" in our nation. Sabra's unique approach to sharing historic facts, local lore, and practical and creative tips for photo ops, really made the adventure exciting, educational, and fun for everyone. Our kids loved it, as did we. As an added testimony to her passion and commitment to her tours and touring companions, she e-mails an inspiring photography booklet with tips for continued photo taking. We were pleasantly surprised to have such a personalized tour of Boston. Our guide, Saba, gave us interesting perspectives and details of Boston's revolutionary history as well as great tips on how to take pictures of each site. The tips on picture taking will help us beyond just this tour. This tour is especially great for beginning and intermediate photographers.
