PhotoWalks

This was a wonderful way to spend a nice afternoon in the city. Our tour guide provided us with tips and tricks on photography as well as lots of colorful Boston history.

This is my second "walk" with Saba and again, she did not disappoint! Saba is very knowledgeable in both the history of the area where you walk, as well as photography and cameras. In addition, she is patient!! She has great insight into unique photo opportunities and you will find yourself looking at everything differently after her tour. She will take the time to make sure that you get the best shot. This time I brought along my 13-year old daughter and she loved it as well. I wholeheartedly recommend these Walks.

We had a really nice time doing the tour. The lady doing the tour was lovely and gave me lots of great ideas about how to look at the things we saw in a different way. If you are looking for a lot of technical information this may not be the best tour but if you need help setting up shots to make them more interesting and learn a little more about the history of the area it is great. I'm looking forward to doing more of her tours and maybe taking my 9year old with me next time.

I thought this tour was great. Saba was patient and knowledgable in teaching photo and giving new and different ideas for pictures. I have walked around Boston too many times to count, but say this area in a whole new light after this tour!

Even though the weather did not co-operate (rain, rain and more rain) the 1 1/2 hour tour was informative both from a historical and photographic sense.

My friend and I are photo-enthusiasts and we wanted to see Boston through a photography tour. We are from Massachusetts and it is a short drive to Boston. I googled "photo tours in Boston" and was let to PhotoWalks. What a find!! Saba was so nice, full of historical information and photo tips!! We had a blast!! Will definitely do her other tours!!! Great photos and great company!! Definitely worth the time and money!!

I was looking for a way to see a part of Boston that I hadn't seen before and I love to take picture of places I have been. This was a perfect way to combine the two! Saba took us on a tour of Beacon Hill and gave us a history of the area, while at the same time showing us new ways to see places and the objects around us. She helped me to use my camera to document where I have been in ways I would never have thought before. She is very knowledgeable and makes the walk interesting!

I consider myself to be an avid photographer and my camera equipment always travels with me to destinations. I randomly came across PhotoWalks' tours of Boston and thought it was right up my alley. I couldn't be more right! This is the kind of tour you go on if you want a close up look at a part of Boston more native city dwellers never pay attention to. You learn a bit of history as you go along, but you guide really wants you to gets some amazing photos too! You are one in a small group (my tour only had four people plus our guide) and you all have the same objective. You don't have to worry about not hearing your guide or getting lost along the way in a group of fifty other tourists! When I return to Boston, I plan on taking another PhotoWalk tour and only wish there were more tours like this one everywhere!

Saba was an excellent tour guide - very personable and brought a lot of enthusiasm. She knew a lot about the area, so in addition to pointing out the unique photo ops, provided a good background of the area. She has a natural eye to find ways to present what looks like normal pictures in an interesting and creative way. Next time we're in Boston we plan on doing one of the other tours she offers.

I would highly recommend this walking tour not only to keen photographers but also anyone would wants a good insight into the history of Boston and its significant landmarks. Our guide Saba was not only highly informative and a knowledgeable photgrapher but also very warm and personable.

We were a group of 5 adults local to the area. We loved the small group size and Saba's photo tips! Great historical commentary - even learned a few things about the Back Bay and went to places we had never been too. Highly recommend for adults and children interested in history and photo taking.

Saba was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Her passion for Boston and photography was infectious. The tour was a great way for tourists and locals, amateurs and accomplished photographers, to learn about Boston and record their impressions photographically.

My friends from work and I really enjoyed this tour. It was fun and informative, and Saba was an excellent guide. She took the time to provide historical details and photo tips, which made the day even better. I plan to try one of the other tour locations (we did the waterfront one) in the fall.
