Did not get there on time

Address entered into GPS was 206 Washington, Boston. Garmin took me somewhere on Washington, probably west, but by the time I tried to figure out 206 East I was much too late to join the group. It was a lovely day and I took some great photos on my own but do truly wish I had been able to be there for the tour.

* Provides an introduction to an important part of Boston for out-of-town visitors. * Saba has carefully selected photographically interesting sites, and has good ideas about how to take interesting photos. * The pace is good, with the right amount of walking.

This was a great city tour with a twist! I'm not really a history buff, so, the photo element was a great addition and kept me interested. I love the shots I captured! Would highly recommend this tour!

Great tour

I really enjoyed the Back Bay tour I took. Saba did a great job of showing me spots to take certain pics, as well as giving me some tips in general on how to take better pictures. In addition, I also learned a little bit of the history of this area and a few buildings in it. She was very nice, and the time flew by. If you're wondering if the tour is worth it, the answer is yes. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Boston. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I had a fantastic time on the tour - Saba was a great help in assisting with my camera as I did not know how some features worked. She was patient with the group as we all tried to get the "perfect shot". Her recommendations were wonderful and she was a fantastic tour guide that also provided us with great insight into the history of all of the locations we shot at. I would HIGHLY recommend her tours!

My daughter and I were visiting Boston (from Dallas) as a potential location for her to attend graduate school. We are both avid amateur photographers, and she found the Boston PhotoWalks tours online & thought it would be a fun thing to do while there. We did the Back Bay one - primarily because of the various photographic opportunities of that particular tour, but also because we were staying in that area. It met and exceeded all our expectations! Saba was amazing, giving us tidbits of history while showing us some creative angles and tips for photo composition. It was truly a great experience, and we would highly recommend it.

Photo Tips We Can Use
Sun, Mar 27, 11   10:00 AM Pyamashita Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
We were impressed with the historical knowledge we gained about Back Bay.from Saba, our tour guide. However the unique part of the walking tour was the tips on taking pictures of different types of scenery. We looked at our pictures when we came home and were happy to see that our pictures looked great. That makes for good memories of Boston and we can use the techniques whenever we take pictures. This tour is a very good value.

Way to much time is spent on the Hancock Bldg. And why would anybody want to take a picture of a door-knocker or an outside stair rail when there are so many interesting bldgs to photograph? And please include the Boston Marathon Finish Line in your tour. It is an integral part of Boston and the Back Bay.

Saba was very nice and enthusiastic - the tour is good for very inexperienced photographers - not for people looking for a photography lesson but nice enough for a tour of Boston

I took my 17 year old granddaughter to Boston with me for a business trip. She is a budding photographer. When I found the Photo Walking Tour of the Freedom Trai,l I was pleased. Saba was great. She spent the 2 hours working with Alexis on unique photo shots and correct settings, etc. Saba is very knowledgeable and patient. She was an expert on the Canon camera Alexis used and was able to help her get great photos. In between photos, Saba provided interesting information on the historical sites we were visiting. I highly recommend this tour.

This was great!

Photography is a hobby I am passionate about and when on vacation, I take it seriously. This tour and the 3 others I took with Saba, were a wonderful way to get to know Boston and to find spots to take good pictures to remember it by. Saba was very knowledgeable and helpful in doing both. Friendly, enthusiastic and flexible, she geared the tours to the season and the needs and skills of the individuals on them. She shared suggestions and demonstated positions for good shots. Her tips for camera operation and settings were very helpful. Additionly, she gave information about the area and tidbits of history along the way. This ended up being a very small group, which was even better for us. After the tour, she made sure we could find our way back to our transportation. That was important to a person directionally challanged like myself in a place like Boston! I would definitely recommend any of these tours to visitors and locals alike. Thanks for a great time, now I am enjoying my pictures and will continue to try what I learned to improve my creativity in photography.
