Interesting spots, great pics and good fun
Sun, Jul 20, 08   10:00 AM momomones Female 20-29 International Tourist(s) Individual
I did a Photowalk tour in Boston Back Bay, in a small group of two, which was great for individual tips and advice from the guide. She showed us interesting spots and how to best capture them. I learned how to put different objects more interestingly on the picture. It was good fun. Next to the things we learned about photography, we also learned more about Boston's architecture. I would definitely recommend the tour for people who want to get more out of their point-and-shoot pics.

A Beacon Hill Photo Reward
Sat, Jul 19, 08   10:00 AM LRosenblatt Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
This being our first trip to Boston, we wanted to learn and capture the most we could of a specific area. We are a group of friends who are amateur photographers. We chose the Beacon Hill photo walk. We were truly surprised and greatly rewarded by this tour. Not only were we taught new photo techniques, but our instructor, Zaba, also gave us much history, and appreciation of the area which made it that much more interesting. She took the time to answer all questions and many times used her own camera and photo's to show us how to capture an effect. As a group we were sorry we didn't have more time to take advantage of her other photo walks. I highly recommend any tour she offers in Boston.

Short and poor

This walk was poor concerning the photo and the city. In the small trip we could do more and learn a bit more about photo. The price is very expensive for this kind of activity. The start was not at time an the end was earlier time!

I went on the photowalk to get tips on shooting pictures, but was pleased to learn a bunch about Boston during the process. Saba does well to show you both the history and different ways to look and capture a scene. Well worth the price and time.

Wonderful Experience

This is the third time that we have taken a photo tour of Boston. Saba is such a good guide, giving valuable tips on how and were to get the best pictures for your holiday album as well as being a mine of information about local history. She is also a very friendly and helpful person, guiding us back to the hotel when we were lost and even treating us to Italian snacks during our tour of the North End. Most enjoyable and very highly recommended for anyone who knows little about Boston and likes photography. Thank you very much Saba!

Saba was very nice and informative. She provided a great history lesson throughout the tour along with helpful hints on how to photograph important landmarks. She was able to "tweek" the tour for our specific wants and needs. Would recommend again!

Great Photwalks Tour of Freedom Trail
Fri, Jul 4, 08   1:00 PM cguilbeau Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Family Without Children
My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. We both learned alot about taking good photographs along with the history of the Freedom Trail in Boston. The only negative was that this tour was over booked. There was not enough time for everyone to stand in the right spot to get the perfect picture. A smaller group would have been better. This tour was taked on the 4th of July. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn history with a twist of photography.

She was an amazing tour guide with great knowledge of the historical sights and how to set up good shots of them. I would strongly recommend this tour and I look forward to trying other tours in the future.

Informative, although not unique.

Walking through Beacon Hill was very pleasureable and interesting. It however was not a unique photographic experience. I would suggest reducing the number of opportunities for photographing flower boxes and doorknobs and substitute them with other subjects.

A pleasant way to learn about the Public Garden.
Fri, Jun 20, 08   10:00 AM eioval Female 60-69 Unspecified Unspecified
I had a most pleasant walk through the Boston Public Garden during the tour. I am familiar with the park, but learned a great deal about some of the statues, monuments and trees. I learned a great deal about how to get the best angle to get really professional looking pictures. The tour guide was very pleasant and gracious. She was very patient in showing me how to take pictures - getting the right angle, lighting, etc. I would definitely recommend taking this tour and would like to plan on taking another tour in the future.

A worthy Historical picture taking experience
Mon, Jun 16, 08   10:00 AM katieobriend Male 50-59 Local Family Without Children
Zaba offered a very educational tour of the Waterfront of Boston that encluded valuable historical knowledge and picture worthy photo destinations that encluded the North End. I was able to capture composition, as well as her vision, for what turned out to be a rather focused tour - suitable for framing. Her walking tour was grossly underpriced for time spent and information received. I'm thinking seriously of another tour with her at either the Back Bay or Beacon Hill sites. I highly recommend her tour ... thank you Zaba!
