New York City's Pizza Bus

All I can say is that everyone enjoyed the tour. What a great ,informative, and delicious time we had. We started in NY at the oldest Pizzaria and met Scott what nice and gracious person. He loves PIZZA buy the way...and knows everything about it. And if anyone knows of a Pizza Place he should visit please let him know. He's always looking for a new adventure. What ever you do go on this tour and bring all your friends you will have the time of your lives. And you get to taste 4 different pizza's. Belive it or not you won't be hungry when your done. As a Pizza Lover from way back, I thought of no better way to spend Mother's Day than to take my whole family on Scott's Pizza Tour. We had a blast! Not only was Scott a great host, but he had a wealth of interesting facts about the areas we visited and the Pizza we ate, explaining why each place was different whether it be the region the cheese was from or where the tomatoes for the sauce were grown. He explained the different ovens and why that makes a pizza taste so different. He presented each person with a goodie bag at the start of the tour with little goodies to enjoy during our bus ride. All in all a wonderful day on Scott's Pizza Tour Bus.

My 12 year old daughter and I had a lot of fun on the bus, visiting two spots in Little Italy and two in Brooklyn. It was a fun, different way to spend the afternoon and see areas of NY we probably would not have otherwise. Scott is truly as enthusiastic and engaging as the other posts suggest. He knew all about our best pizza spot in Berkeley (Zacharys) and taught us all about pizza, ovens and even pizza boxes. There's only so many museums and Broadway shows you can take, and this was a great change of pace. Highly recommend.

Fun and delish! Also Scott is a wealth of knowledge on the history of pizza and pizza places. Well worth the trip!

We stopped at several pizza places which were all fantastic. Everything from organization to the information was spot-on. This activity is for all ages, everybody can enjoy it. Scott made a very enjoyable day.

My family has done our share of food tours thru the years (any chance we can get), but this one was unique, informative, filling and most of all FUN. We were amazed at Scott's knowledge of all things "Pizza", and his passion for the business. He kept us entertained and had us involved from Manhattan to Brooklyn and back. I truly cannot say enough great things about this tour, and have walked away with a new appreciation for pizza ... even down to the cardboard box that houses it. We have four kids, 18, 15, 13 and 11. They all agreed that this was one of their favorite experiences inNew York! Scott's enthusiasm for pizza is contagious. We did the Sunday bus tour. This is an insider's look into New York style pizza. We now know more about cheeses, sauce and crusts than ever before. If you want to get away from tourists and experience real NY pizzerias across the boroughs, take this tour! It is memorable!

This is one of the best things i have done in NY. Great information if you are interested in ovens, heat, gas, wood, ingredients and great pizza. Who could ask for anything more. What Scott doesn't know about pizza is probably not worth knowing. With his research in great NY (and out of town) pizzerias, plus his passion for the subject, Scotts pizza tours is a must take event. Will do it again as there are so many great places. Did the tour, loved it, got the t-shirt. will wear it next time.

We went on the pizza bus tour with Scott and absolutely loved it. Scott seems to know all there is to know about pizza and the pizza stops were great. 2 in Manhatten and 2 in Brooklyn. Book it. A great day for all.
