New York City's Pizza Bus

The pizza tour was a great way to spend a sunday afternoon.. My kids enjoyed seeing New York and sampling new styles of pizza. We enjoyed getting a stress- free tour and top notch service without the wait at these establishments. School age children enjoyed seeing the pizza making process and ovens. Children any younger may get bored because the 'learning about pizza' aspects may not capture them. Thabnks Scott. We'll be back.

Took our 15 and 11 year old boys on this tour. Scott has lots of energy, was very engaged and very informative. The boys loved him!!! Every tour is different and our tour included two stops in Brooklyn which was fun getting out of Manhattan and seeing some different NYC lifestyles. Meeting all the old school owners was a special experience for the boys. A taste of NYC for sure. Highly recommend.

It was a rainy day, but Scott's knowledge of pizza is incredible. I am Italian and didn't know ANYTHING about pizza culture until I spent 4 hours in and out of a bus with him. I totally take pizza more seriously now and am really glad he introduced me to some places that I had never been to before. Love it, love it, love it!

After being delighted with last year's walking tour of Little Italy and Greenwich Village, we took the bus tour to the boroughs and loved it. Scott's knowledge and passion for his subject sweeps you along, and the four pizza stops are yummy too. Since Scott always mixes up the restaurants on his tours, we plan to do it again in the future.

We did the pizza bus tour after a recommendation form our friends to take the pizza walking tour. Since it was sold out, we opted for the bus... which took us to Harlem, Astoria, Queens and Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a fun and diverse group of people, but we were the only group with kids. Scott is incredible. Gotta love him! Such enthusiasm, personality and a passion for pizza. We began our tour at Lombardi's. Perfection. We had fun discussing and comparing the pizzas, which were all very tasty. Our kids range from 4 to 16, and they all got into it and enjoyed the day. We will definitely go back and tell our friends.

I cannot recommend this crazy-fun tour enough. I used to not like pizza, think of it as a junk food, and not really think of it that often. That has all changed now. From learning about the fresh mozz., to understanding how breaking basil leaves spreads the oils over the pizza, and that thin crust & a simple sauce, pizza is now a staple food I turn to time and time again. We took the bus tour and got to visit neighborhoods and boroughs I never would've traveled to otherwise. The range of pizzas is incredible, especially since we get into such intricacies of how they're made, why they're made that way, and their historical origins. Scott is a blast a minute, a total natural at interacting with any type of crowd and personality. This is perfect for families with teens, couples, tourists, locals (the types of people we had on our tour) and everyone left having learnt *at least* one new & interesting fact, and with a new favorite pizzeria.

We took the bus tour on November 14th and still haven't stopped talking about it. WHAT A BLAST! Scott's knowledge off all things pizza is amazing; his excitement is genuine; and his enthusiasm is contagious. Not to mention, the pizzas were delicious! We plan to take the walking tour in the spring and have highly recommended Scott's Pizza Tours to all of our friends. If you're looking for a true taste of NYC, don't miss this tour!!!

A Pizza tour of NYC...What an amazing idea, I wish I had thought of it! I got two tickets for the pizza tour as a present for my boyfriend's 24th birthday. We had the most amazing time, and went to places that we, if not for the tour, would not have ventured to on our own. I thought eating four slices of pizza would be challenging, but surprisingly it was pretty easy. I guess the pizza was just THAT delicious. Scott knew more about pizza than anyone I had ever met which greatly enhanced the pizza tour experience. I HIGHLY recommend this activity, and with 12 pizzerias still left to concur, I can't wait to go on the pizza tour again very very soon!

Scott knew his pizza. For 4 hours, we ate pizza, analyzed pizza, got out of Manhattan into Brooklyn, and generally had a great time. There were 13 people in our group so it was small enough to ask questions and get to know the others in the group. Highly recommended for adults who want something different.
