| On the 4th of July I could have gone to see someone in Coney Island eat 68 hotdogs in ten minutes. Instead, I decided to go on a tour in Manhattan that would let me eat some American fast food myself. I soon learned that even though some pizza's are made in a swift 4 minutes, they can hardly be considered fast food in the regular, unhealthy sense of the word. :)
In the beginning I was kind of unsure whether it would be any fun at all to go on a strange/fun/weird/tasty tour like this, since I only recently moved to New York and had no one to go with. However, it was easy to connect with others in the group, plus Scott was totally awesome and went to great lengths to accommodate even the lone local/foreigner. On top of that, the knowledge Scott has about pizza is amazing; he really knows everything you could possibly want to know about pizza - and more! His enthusiasm and passion for pizza was very contagious, and since the pizza was really very good as well, the tour totally superceded my expectations.
I really had a great afternoon and can recommend this tour to anyone - even when you're on your own! |

| Scott is a great tour guide and very personable. I loved the free samples and the goody bag, they added an unexpected touch. I did get tired after the first 2 hours of walking, but the prospect of pizza and Scott's enthusiasm kept the energy flowing. The tour wasn't just about pizza, it was very personal and connected well to the nyc community. I strongly recommend this tour, whether you're a pizza enthusiast or just appreciate food, it's worthwhile for both. |

| I will never again eat pizza without referencing the information I learned during the tour. It was obvious Scott knows his topic. It was a pleasure having someone whom loved what he was doing, it showed in his presentation. |

| It speaks volumes to say by the time we arrived at our second location I was ready to book the tour for a second time. Scott is so exhilerating, I hope he never gives up this job for the corporate, dull hum-drum life! What a gem. All pizza from this point forward will pale in comparison to the taste of a coal fired oven baked pizza from the god's of pizza - Lombardi's. It was soooo good that my daughter and I walked all the way from Times Square on July 4th to have another whole pie ! I can't wait for the international pizza tours. Thanks Scott for a great time !

| I live close by in NJ, and I went on this tour with my out-of-town friend from Texas (who was IN town). We were both impressed in that I think we thought we would kind of just bounce from one pizza place to the next and that would be it. But we were pleasantly surprised that, in addition to stopping at three yummy pizza places, we learned about the history of pizza, especially to and in NYC. We were taken to places that sell the machines and equipment used to make/cook pizza, and stores that sell ingredients, etc, etc. We had a super-knowledgeable guide Scott, who was really informative, helpful, funny, considerate, nice, and really seemed into what he was doing! Scott did all the little things, too, to make the tour a fun experience, bringing little pads and pens for us all to write on, little "gifts," mints to eat between pizzas, and other stuff of that nature. He did a great job answering any questions I had, my friend had, and.....really, any questions ANYONE had. I really thoroughly enjoyed my experience on this tour and at some point would like to do it again. I DO highly recommend this tour for anyone considering it. |
