Scott Wiener's love and passion for pizza is unlike anything I've ever encountered. Not only does he know everything there is to know about everyone's favorite food, he knows how to share this love in a way that makes you excited about pizza in a way that you never thought you could be.
He took our group to three delicious yet strikingly different pizza places and gave an incredible (and incredibly interesting) amount of information on the history and culture of the establishments. Not only do you feel like you've got a better appreciation for pizza, you really feel like you're getting more in touch with the fabric of New York. Pizza is a huge part of the culture of the city; rather than feel touristy, this tour makes you feel like part of the true culture of New York.
It was a great afternoon, and I can't wait to sign up for a bus tour. Scott is a funny, charming, and genuine guy whose enthusiasm is infectious. If you love pizza, food culture, history, New York, or just interesting facts to share with people, you need to take this tour. |

Even though friends had highly recommended the tour, I was skeptical. How could a pizza tour be that much fun. I found out as soon as I met Scott. Scott's enthusiasm was contagious. He made every aspect of the tour interesting and his knowledge pizza was amazing. I've been telling everyone back home about the tour. It was well worth the time. I would take the tour again. |

We had Scott as our guide and he was great. He is very enthusiastic about pizza which is infectious. It's amazing the amount of history which is available about pizza and trying the different pizzas in the different places was really good.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys eating pizza as it will change the way you think about pizza and make you enjoy it a lot more. |

I loved the pizza tour. I heard about it from a friend and this Christmas I finally bought tickets for my 3 brothers and 3 cousins (aged from 18-36) to go on it. We LOVED it! You visit 3 pizza places along with visiting 2-3 other sites along the way. The pizza places were the first pizza place in the USA, Lombardi's, John's Pizza of Bleeker Street, and another one. The pizza was truly truly 100 times better than your local place. They are famous for a reason!
We are from New Jersey so the tour works for both local New Yorkers and tourists. We had a blast. Very, very informative and worth the day. If you want a once in a lifetime opportunity that will open up your understanding of pizza and the New York neighborhoods visited then go on this tour! You will definitely not regret it. I cannot say enough but go on it and see for yourself!!
As a side note: Besides learning about pizza I was opened up to the rich diversity of places on Bleeker St and Little Italy. I am a lifetime New Yorker/New Jerseyian but haven't really spent much time in these neighborhoods. I am definitely going to spend many more days there and very glad we went on this tour. |

Sometimes, your anticipation and expectations for excede your experience. But not this time. Scott made the tour just INCREDIBLE. Not only was he knowledgeable, but enthusiastic as well. The group I was with were awesome as well, but the tour was great. The pizza lore was fascinating and the food was tremendous. If anyone (foodie, novice or just curious) wants to REALLY understand and appreciate NY pizza - do this!! |

Great tour, pizza was awesome and Scott was a great guide. I will definitely consider taking the Bus tour on my next visit to NYC. The tour is good value for money and gives the opportunity to sample Pizza in restaurants that would only serve whole pies. |

What a great experience the tour was. Scott was so passionate about what he does. The history provided on pizza was excellent. Taste testing different types of cheese pizza one after another definitely helped me determine what style I preferred. We will do the bus tour next time. |
