Crosstown Pizza Walk

There are a lot of tours for New York. This is the only one I've done. But I would go back again and again. Scott has an incredible amount of knowledge of New York, so this turns into more than just a pizza tour of New York. Next time I take this tour, it will be hard to choose between the bus tour and the walking tour. I want to try the bus, but the walking tour was just sooo much fun!

Scott's Pizza Tour is so much fun! The guy knows everything there is to know about pizza- literally everything. I expected just to be shown a few pizzerias, eat some pizza, and get a little history, but Scott infuses so much energy into the tour, you get so much more!

Scott's Pizza Tour was my favorite activity in NYC. He is so enthusiastic about pizza and pizza history that it was making me excited too. It was great to see all the sights and hear all his stories about the origins of pizza in America. And the slices along the way were great!

This is a great activity if you've done the usual tourist attractions and are looking for something different. Scott is personable, and his enthusiasm for pizza is infectious. He's gone to great lengths to study the history of pizza in NY, as well as what unique elements combine to make NY pizza the triumph that it is. I had hoped the activity would be a little more of a culinary adventure, with stops at the best pizza places in Manhattan, but found it to be more of a tour of historically significant pizza places. Still - a really fun thing and different thing to do, especially with a teen!

This was a GREAT tour! Scott MAKES it!! It was funny, entertaining AND an education in pizza!!! I went back to 2 of the 3 pizza places and took three people with me - they loved it too. My US friend is just a little bit concerned......because I have mentioned Scott at least once a day since the tour!!!!!!! LOL

I loved this tour. Scott is PASSIONATE about pizza - his enthusiasm is infectious. I learned a lot about Pizza and the areas we toured. Great eating - great time. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Highly recommended. Scott's enthusiasm is contagious! And by the end of the walking tour, I was just as crazy for pizza! His extensive research in all aspects of pizza-making and eating is amazing! I will now follow his "Pizza Patrol" column for the Star Ledger(NJ) with interest . Just wish he'd start a blog. Next I plan to go on his longer pizza bus tour! .

I've made several trips to New York previously, and Scott's Pizza Tours now ranks as one of my favorite! Scott has SO much energy and is SO passionate about his pizza that it's almost impossible not to have a good time on the tour. Even though I toured by myself, as I was visiting friends in the city who were working during the day and had time to spare, he made everyone feel welcome. Not only was the pizza we had amazing, but the tour was also educational. If you have a spare few hours around mid-day, definitely take the time to enjoy this tour. I think you'll have the same feelings as I do afterwards!
