We enjoyed getting to know the folks on our tour, and we enjoyed listening to Scott as he educated us about all things pizza. I would like to take another tour (perhaps the Greenwich Village tour) on another day. The only critique I would make is that I would suggest speeding up the time between pizza stop 1 and pizza stop 2. We spent a bit too long in the pizza equipment stores, and I would have preferred moving on to our next slice! Yum! |

Tough to imagine this tour being so good without the unbridled enthusiasm and knowledge of host Scott. Whilst the pizza sampling was osum (especially Lombardi's), he just made the event so worthwhile by introducing the classic Italian Deli, the oven factory etc etc. He is a bit of a legend. |

I am a New Yorker and my sister booked the pizza tour for our family. It was fun and eductional and made me appreciate pizza more than I thought possible. Scott made it fun for the kids and the adults. He was engaging, funny, gave us an education on the history of pizza and its origins in NYC. I loved it and would highly recommend to young and old. |

All I can say is, if you are a fan of Pizza and want to know anything and everything about pizza, then this tour is for you. Scott is very enthousiastic about Pizza but I didn't find it infectious unfortunately.
The Tour started great and we had a sit down pizza, saw inside the coal oven and it was a very good slice of pizza. We then went for quite a walk and ended up at a wholesalers for bread making machines, pizza utensils, etc which we thought was a bit odd, but as it was a pizza tour, maybe not?
We then visited two other pizza places but just ate outside in the square or on the pavement (not sure what would have happened if the weather was poor). From the second place to the third place we had about a 15 minute max. space inbetween eating our pizza. It was a bit rushed in the end but we couldn't wait to get away....
We thought it would be a bit about pizza, information on the areas and a tour of some really interesting facts. It was all about pizza and a very long winded 3 hours.
I would only recommend if you are "really" into pizza. Sorry! |

scott is great. enthusiastic and knowledgable.
i wouldn't recommend going to joe's. It wasn't that great to me. but i guess u need something to compare great pizza to. Lombardi's was a good stop and so was John's.
I didn't like going to the shop where the pizza ovens were made. I think we could have gone without that. I wanted to go to more pizza stops. |

Scott was an amazing guide. He's got more enthusiasm for pizza than anyone I've ever met. And he absolutely loves sharing that with everyone on the tour. Thanks Scott! |

Had an excellent time doing the walking tour over the recent winter holiday. Scott is exceedingly entertaining, and knows more about pizza than you would think is there to be known. I am going home with a strong desire to buy myself a pizza stone and peel and become a pizza chef at my house. If you have two or three free hours while in New York City, grab a couple friends or a date and DO THIS!! |

We did the Crosstown Walking tour with Joe as our guide. He was a great guide and very friendly. We ate a lot of good pizza and learned a ton about pizza making and the history of food in NYC. I can't recommend these tours enough!! |

Loved seeing the area, would be great to hear more detail about the other buildings we passed. I know, it's a pizza tour so it focused on pizza, but I'm sure we passed lots of other great historical places, I would have loved to hear more as we were walking. |
