I surprised my boyfriend with tickets to the Crosstown Pizza Tour- he's obsessed with pizza so he absolutely loved it! I invited his friends, so we all got to enjoy the tour together. Afterwards, we made the most of the day and got some dessert at a bakery called Rocco's. PHENOMENAL! A great way to end the day. Our tour guide was awesome! She was so enthusiastic and definitely knew a lot about her pizza history! I recommend people of all ages to take part in this. |

We have already recommended the tour to all of our family and friends we've spoken to since we got home. Scott loves pizza more than anyone I've ever met (and I thought we were pizza lovers!), but not only that, he knows SO much about pizza and wants to share all his knowledge with his guests. He was happy to answer every question and made sure everyone was involved. His enthusiasm was contagious! |

Who cares about the pizza (though we love pizza and it was pretty good). What makes this such a great tour is Scott! He is so passionate about Pizza. He explains both the art and history behind making the different pies as they evolved through history. his knowledge on te subject is so astounding! He was answering questions from guys on the tour who owned a pizza shop in Florida and had taken his same tour last year. They told us how Scott's recommendation on flour had an incredibly postive affect on his pizzaria and he was back for more wisdome. Scott can tell you percisely what effect small changes in water, salt, yeast, flour, temperature, oven type, spices, etc make on the pizza, then asks us to taste these differences as we walk through the neighbourhoods. What was even more impressive, is that with all of the marketing and competition for your pizza $$$ in NYC, Scott has remained unbiased and independent. None of the pizzerias give him a kick back for bringing us there, he is not married to any pizzaria and he pays cash for the pizzas before we leave. It is an honest, naked, unedited tour of pizza. We took the tour with a group of 16 and my immediate group was with my family of 5 (3 kids ages 4, 2 and 5 months) and friends of ours with 2 small kids ages 3 and 1. He used his laser thermometer to ensure our kids pizza was below 175F before they took a bite. Scott was great! If you have 3 extra hours in NYC and are lucky enough to get in on this, it is well worth your time and money. Thank you Scott, we will be back! James from St Albert, Alberta, Canada |

Scott and his pizza tour is THE BEST tour we have ever taken. Scotts enthusiasm for everything pizza related is incredible and contagious. He makes you want to be part of this industry.
He will introduce you to different types of pizza and describe the origins of pizza in America.
He truly loves what he does and it shows !
Will definately do the bus tour next time we are in NYC!
Thanks for a great day Scott!! |

I loved this tour. Scott knew more about pizza than I could have dreamed possible. He is not only knowledgeable, but its obvious how much he loves pizza. The fun he's having is infectious. All the places we went to have incredible pizza and they were all very different. It was truly a unique experience. Highly recommend. |

We had a terrible rainy/snowy day, but Joanne was probably the best tour guide I've ever had for anything. You can't go wrong for $35. You will know more about pizza than you ever thought you could. |

Scott was very well knowledged on the origin of pizza. He presented it in a highly interesting, enthusiastic way that had everyone's attention. Not only did he have the education, but he had the best spots to sample at! I would highly recommend this tour or any of his other tours. Next time In in the area, I will be taking another tour with him! |
