We had the best time on our tour with JoAnn and have been highly recommending it to all our friends since. I live in New York but had family members visiting for the week, and it was the perfect way to discover new parts of the city and sample some incredible pizza. The 3 hours flew by and I am ready to sign up for another tour when my next group of visitors arrive!

My husband and our two daughters took this tour. We really had a great time. It was a great way to get a pizza education, eat great pizza and see parts of the city we'd never see on our own. I would highly recommend this as a great family outing.

Scott is great. He is enthusiastic, upbeat and a great communicator. The tour was fun and informative. I learned more about pizza than I even knew was possible. The tour was a total blast. I highly recommend it.

Scott took us all over little Italy, the Bowery and Chinatown and this guy knows so much about the origins of pizza you would think he invented it himself. Has a lot of useful information on where it comes from, how it came to America and the places in NYC where they make pizza ovens, fresh cheese and the "Godfather of the brick oven, Vinny" who we were lucky to run into on our tour. This is well worth the price and you get to eat some great pizza as well.

We had a terrific time touring with Scott. We learned a tremendous amount about pizza. He was wonderful with my ten year old son. I've already recommended it to several of our friends.

This was a great tour with a very informed guide! Scott knows pizza inside and out! He was very excited about the topic and the tour was very organized. We, not only tasted great pizza, but were taught the differences in baking methods and ingredients as well as the history of pizza in our country. Be ready for a lot of walking but also a lot of fun.

Such a great activity! Scott's enthusiasm is contagious. And I'm convinced there is nothing about pizza that he doesn't know. And seemed to have a pizza restaurant recommendation for every tour guest's hometown. Very impressive! I think I was smiling for the entire 3 hours of the tour. Do this when in New York!

So much fun - and yummy, too!

This turned out to be a highlight of my trip! I have been to NY many times and thought that I don't really need a tour, but wow, this was so much fun! Scott is a fantastic guide, so enthusiastic and full of knowledge. He seems to know every single person in the NY pizza business, from the dishwasher to the restaurant owner to the old guy who builds to pizza ovens. The three pizzerias we went to were all different and the pizza was delicious every time. Also, we got to eat slices at famous places that don't sell pizza by the slice. Excellent value for the money! After the tour we all knew the difference between brick and gas oven pizza, between the different mozzarellas and sauces. He even made the tour 45 minutes longer because we all enjoyed it so much - including Scott. Just great!

Scott is a fabulous tour guide. He has a great personality, a passion for pizza that's entertaining and educational and a wonderful way of making everyone in the group feel comfortable right away. We all loved this tour, even the 13 year-old! That's saying something!
