He knows his pizza!

Scott was better informed than anyone I know. He discussed so many aspects of the making of pizza and the differences that I really feel more interested in taste testing on my own. Also, my children are excited to experience different restaurants near their colleges. Scott was enthusiastic and entertaining. His friendly manner made everyone comfortable as a group. He was better than the pizza!

Highlight of our NYC Trip

This was one of our favorite things during our NYC trip. Scott was entertaining, enthusiastic, and extremely well informed and the pizza was good, too. Our 12 year old son thoroughly enjoyed himself and so did my husband and I.

Although it's relatively easy to get excited about pizza, Scott's enthusiasm is completely infectious. He provides great insights into the history of pizza (not just in New York) as well as more specific details on how it evolved in New York. It was also a great way to see new parts of the city while enjoying slices and history along the way.

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would recommend it without reservation (though you DO need reservations) to anyone. The guide is incredibly personable and enthusiastic. This was a great way to spend a few hours in New York. We learned a lot too!

Scott is so passionate about his pizza, he is really contagious! Apart from being great fun, and perfect for taking a 16-yearold in New York for the first time - I have to say I did learn loads too. Like how fresh mozzarella taste, and the difference between taste and ovens. So thanks for a great tour! //Angelin from Sweden

Scott is so engaging and you learn all these interesting facts about the history of pizza in nyc on top of eating some great slices. Really enjoyed this tour. Great way to see and walk lower Manhattan. Scott is a wonderful tour guide, open to questions and input. Highly recommended. I think everyone on our tour (about 20 people) had a ball!

Scott made this tour the best! He is incredibly interested and informed about pizza and its history and is able to educate you with his enthusiasm and vivacious personality. While in New York we did all the tourist things like seeing plays, 5th Ave., Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and this pizza tour is definitely one of the main highlights that we will remember forever. This tour is definitely worth the effort and money if you love pizza and have any curiosity of how it all started in New York.
