We are a mom and daughter (51 and 19, respectively!) from Washington, DC who have been anxious to take this tour for a few years........It was so worth the wait! We thoroughly enjoyed every delicious minute of our walking pizza tour. Our guide, Joanne, was fabulous --- Thanks, Joanne, for a wonderful Saturday morning tour on a beautiful June day! Loved all three slices and I think I'd have to eat them side-by-side to choose a favorite :) Enjoyed the history lesson along the way and the special visit to Patsy.
We would enthusiastically recommend this tour and hope to take the bus version in the future!
Thank you, Scott, for creating such a fun event for all of us! |

Enjoyable walking tour to 3 different types of pizzeria. Who knew? Especially enjoyable was our trip to Lombardi's to see their brick oven. I never knew that learning history could be so delicious. Thanks to Joanne our pizza guide who answered every question and was both patient and enthusiastic. |

The pizza tour sounded like a great activity for my family while my in-laws were visiting from out of town. Our group included my in-laws who are in their 60s, my husband and myself, and our 3 children ages 5,7, and 9. From the moment Scott greeted us he was upbeat and enthusiastic about all that is pizza. My kids were immediately hooked and this is before we even began walking to the first pizzeria! The tour was informative, entertaining, and delicious. I was struck by how much my kids got into comparing the styles of pizza we sampled. The tour moved along well. We weren't in any one place too long but we had plenty of time to walk between stops so that eating 3 slices of pizza wasn't a big deal. My in-laws found the pace to be comfortable for them as well. Scott was a great tour guide and very nice to the kids. It's been over a week since our tour and the kids are still talking about making our own pizza and how they want to approach it given what they sampled on the tour.
I would highly recommend this tour to other families with kids. As long as your kids don't mind walking, they will have a great time! |

Scott provided tons of interesting info and was genuinely interested in pizza and everything associated with it. We tried three different locations in the lower Manhattan area, and learned lots along the way. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone! |

This pizza tour was fun and interesting. Scott did a great job at telling us about the history of pizza as well as the history of the places we visited. Walking the tour gave you a good sense of the area and was good exercise! |

Went on Pizza Tour with my daughter on recommendation of friend who lives in NYC. We were part of a small group and had super enjoyable time. The pizzas were all different and wonderful. We all had a definite favorite, but the Italian history that went with the pizza and cheese was just as good! |

There's no way to know what is so amazing about this tour until you go on it. Scott is not only charismatic--he does everything in his power to make sure everyone on the tour has a great time...hard not to enjoy the tour when we're treated to so much delicious pizza, but equally delicious were Scott's anecdotes about pizza history, insights about pizza across the country and world, and reflections on pizza ingredients and cooking styles. This tour is time and money extremely well spent. |
