Great way to see NYC neighborhoods

It was really fun to get an insider's view of pizza and food in the city. We felt like we hit the jackpot getting to taste some of the best slices in town. The kids enjoyed it and the walking was the perfect amount. Loved getting a feel for the neighborhoods as we walked and learned about history of NY and history of pizza.

Our famiy has visited New York on numerous occasions and was looking for something new on this trip. Our children, ages 11 and 9, were as enthralled with the tour as we were! They could not stop talking about all the different types of pizzas available and all the experiences they had on the trip! It was great! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about pizza and made if very fun and entertaining! We would highly recommend!

Great day - Scott seemed to genuinely enjoy schlepping all over the lower east side with a bunch of strangers, giving them the most amazing pizza experience

This time we had Joanne as our guide. She was wonderful, Scott taught her well. Wish we could have sat down at Johns - but the pizza was terrific. My niece really enjoyed herself.

My boys and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Though it is listed as 3 hours, they said that the time flew and they did not notice the walking. We learned so much about pizzas, crusts, tomatoes, mozarella...and got to taste a few pizzas that were cooked in different ways. I particularly enjoyed the fact that we got to stroll through Little Italy and the Village, stopping off at local food producers. I look forward to spending more time in that area on my return. Our favourite...Lombardis.

Just the right balance between walking eating and learning. One possible improvement would be to serve only the best pizzas, I know this is different from everybody, but the middle stop was a pretty average (at best) pie.

Scott is great and really loves this topic. The tour is much more than a pizza tasting -- it's a fun pizza-centered lesson in history. I had a lot of fun, and LOVED the pizza we ate!!

I would definitely do this tour again. It was so much more than the pizza, although the pizza was the best I've ever had. Getting out and walking around in the neighborhoods was a lot of fun, and Joanne was a wealth of knowledge about pizza, pizza making, and history of New York. It was a lot of walking but well worth it.

We had a group of 6 that ranged from ten years of age to fifty-three and everyone had a great time. We all enjoyed the pizza and the high energy of our guides. It was a lot of fun. Not sure I'd recomend to anyone who is not interested in pizza, but that seems like a given. Scott was great as a tour guide but the woman(sorry, forgot her name) should speak up a bit. It was a large group and she was hard to hear.
