Great tour, pizza was awesome and Scott was a great guide. I will definitely consider taking the Bus tour on my next visit to NYC. The tour is good value for money and gives the opportunity to sample Pizza in restaurants that would only serve whole pies.

What a great experience the tour was. Scott was so passionate about what he does. The history provided on pizza was excellent. Taste testing different types of cheese pizza one after another definitely helped me determine what style I preferred. We will do the bus tour next time.

Must Do! Loved Scott & Loved the Tour

My husband and I did the walking tour on 1/3/11. It was fantastic and is a MUST do for anyone visiting or living in NYC. Scott has an infectious enthusiasm for pizza that is just amazing. He is a hard core pizza lover and even has a utility belt with black pepper and a laser thermometer. We loved hanging out with him and hearing all about the history of pizza in NYC. On our tour, we visited Lombardi's, Joe's and John's as well as a cheese shop and restaurant supply store, where Scott showed us a deck pizza oven and different types of pizza peels. Each place we went was delicious and had a unique style of pizza. Scott was very well known at each of the stops on the tour - like he was part of their family. It was really cute. Scott has inspired us and we will be purchasing a pizza stone and peel of our own.

What a treat! We brought a group of teenagers and they were blown away by how much fun they had, how much they learned and the amazing pizza they got to eat. We all would eagerly go again. This is a must do for a New York trip!!!

There were six people in our group and we all agreed that this was one of the highlights of our trip. I have been to NYC countless times and I am always looking for something a bit different to see or do...I would most definately do this tour again. If we could have gone on the Sunday tour we probably would have...but we were leaving for the airport. Scott has the perfect personality for his job (I mean passion) and he is very informative and knowlegeable. There were 8- 65 year olds on our tour and I truely believe that a great time was had by all. There was not one glitch in the tour...it was total perfection!

We went the morning after a blizzard and the city was shut down except for the pizza places. Had a lot of fun and learned a lot. Ate a lot of yummy pizza. Highly recommended!

I went to this tour thinking we were just gonna eat pizza at 3 different places. Well we did that and much more. Each place was different and I learned a lot about the different types of pizzas that New York City offers. Also why are some places different than others. Coal Brick Overn Pizzas, Wood Brick Oven Pizzas and Gas Oven Pizzas! It doesn't hurt that Scott is a pretty funny guy. So you will have fun walking from place to place. By the way if you telling yourself, what is there to know about pizza. Trust me, you'll be surprised. This tour will give a lot of awesome details about pizza story and just plain history. I recommend this tour to anybody that likes Pizza and is willing to learn more. If you think you are the Pizza King in your house, SCOTT WILL BRING YOU TO SHAME!! Jajajaja.

Header pretty much says it. Family of four, including teen, agree Scott's tour is among the highlights of our stay. It took roughly 15 seconds to see he knows and loves pizza. The tour was like walking around with one of your best friends. Unexpected bonus: he told us all about pizza where we live now, in the Bay Area. Great guy, terrific outing.
