Something Different

We have been to New York 3 times before and have done all the usual tourist attractions - Empire State, Central Park, Times Sq etc so we were looking for something a bit different. The tour was very enjoyable with our guide Joanna taking us to 3 different pizza restaurants and giving us detailed information about each one (3 different styles of pizza). Luckily we had good weather as there is a good bit of walking to be done - it being a walking tour! My husband, 16 yr old daughter & I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something a bit different.

Best Tour Ever - As Good As It Gets

Regardless of the subject, anytime a person immerses themselves in something as passionately as Scott does pizza the results are tremendous. Whether or not you like pizza (and rest assured if you do like it you will like it even more after this tour), his expertise and depth of knowledge will have you engaged before eating your first slice. His enthusiasm is contagious and his local connections with PIP's (People in Pizza - yes Scott, you can use that on future tours!) leave you feeling like an insider. I can't say enough good things about this tour and look forward to doing it again when I return to New York.

Tour was excellent! This was a really in depth look at the pizza culture of NYC, and Scott was very entertaining. We visited Lombardi's, Baro's pizza supply, The Pizza Box and John's on Bleecker. We had a lot of laughs and ate 3 different styles of pizza along the way. If you love pizza and want to have fun and learn a few things along the way, then check out this tour. If you only want to just eat a bunch of different pizzas then maybe head out on your own.

There were three of us in our specific group who went on the pizza walking tour w/ Scott; this is a MUST when in NYC! The walking tour was beyond fantastic, as was the pizza. Scott is very friendly, easy to talk to and super super knowledgeable about pizza. He made everyone feel right at home. You will not walk away hungry either. All of us on the tour learned some good information about pizza. We even had a "magical" bonus stop with extra pizza. We cannot say enough about how great this tour was. For things to do in NYC, this is one thing you should not miss doing. It is one of our top 3 things we did on our NYC trip. Would we go again? You bet, no doubt about it!!

The tour was great, Scott was VERY enthusiastic and captivating. We learned alot about not only pizza, but the history and culture of NY. The only complaint I could make is that we would have liked to have eaten more than one slice at each place. I would definitely take this tour again!
