This is simple : Scott knows EVERYTHING about Pizza, with a big 'P'.
I won't be surprised to see a book -an encyclopedia I should say- about pizza written by Scott.
On top of this expertise, the guy is really nice and fun.
Don't hesitate ! |

Scott was fun, funny, interesting, and informative. His tour was exciting, interesting, and delicious. I love pizza even more since the tour. He provided the group with a history of pizza in Italy and the USA. I learned so much. Loved the pizza and the fun gift bags he provided. I would take this tour again with my husband who loves pizza but was not able to make it on the tour. We did the walking tour - TONS OF FUN! I highly recommend it. |

I had a small group of ladies from Texas who thoroughly enjoyed the tour-the informative nature of it, the pizza itself, the walking aspect through the neighborhoods and Scott himself. My husband and I loved it as well-Scott's enthusiasm is contagious so much that I wont' be able to eat another piece of pizza without thinking about all the ingredients! |

My wife and I went on the pizza tour Thursday Sept 2nd and absolutely loved it. Our tour guide (Joanne) provided a knowledge and insight into the world and history of New York pizza that greatly exceeded my expectations to say the least. We went to 3 different pizzerias as well as making stops at an Italian grocery in Little Italy, at the Bari pizza oven location in Nolita (I think that's where it was) along with other stops in Greenwich Village to discuss a variety items both pizza and non-pizza related. The only downside of the tour was that it was extremely hot and humid that day and there was a fair bit of walking involved, but under more normal conditions I don't think it would be a drawback. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with a remote interest in New York pizza and its related history and development not to mention some great pizza to taste as well!!! |

Scott is a human dynamo, and what he doesn't know about pizza simply isn't worth knowing. A most entertaining tour (and the pizza wasn't half bad either!) Highly recommended. |

Scott's personal love of pizza and pizza history shows through in his tour of New York City's pizzerias. He took us to the very first pizzeria in all of New York, but not before taking us to the cheese shop that sells the fresh mozzarella used on the pies and giving each person a plentiful taste of cheese that was made just 24 minutes prior. The tour included kitchen access and getting to see more than one historical brick ovens.
I would recommend this tour for anyone, including children (we had none), teens and adults. It was a blast for our small group of adults! |

Scott is incredibly knowledgeable in all things pizza. He demonstrated how to tell if a slice was made in a brick/coal-burning/electric oven as well as how to determine the moisture level of the cheese. He was able to answer every question and also has a great sense of humor. Incredibly, he knew a pizza restaurant in every participant's hometown - and some of them were international! This was my second time on this tour: first I went with friends and this time I brought my family. It was equally enjoyable both times. A great way to spend a few hours in the city! |
