A friend of mine suggested we go on this tour. It seemed like a fun idea, so I signed up. Only later did I read the description. "What?!" I thought. "Only three slices of pizza for $30?! This had better be amazing pizza."
The pizza itself was not amazing, but the tour certainly was. Scott is very, very knowledgeable about his subject. He'll tackle any question you can think of and boy is he enthusiastic. It's impossible not to be interested listening to him talk about ovens and cheese and coal composition (yeah, we even went over coal composition). Highly recommend. |

This was SUCH a fun day in the City! I used to live in New York, but Scott showed us the 'underworld' of the pizza industry - I loved learning about pizza from so many angles. Was the perfect date b/c there was always something to be engaged in, to talk about, and we could talk with other people on the tour - also easy to just enjoy some pizza, the two of us, when we wanted to. EXCELLENT!!! Scott's enthusiasm is contagious and very much appreciated - great to spend time around someone so passionate about what they do! |

Scott keeps his enthusiasm for the 3+ hours to make the tour fun. He has vast knowledge of the history and of the numerous pizzerias he's visited. The variety of pizza was all very good. The price of the walking tour makes it an excellent value.. |

I bought tickets for the tour for my husband as an anniversary gift after seeing a piece on the tour on our local news. My husband loves pizza and loves history so it was a great combo. Scott was a great guide...full of information and enthusiasm. The staff members at the pizzerias we visited seemed to like him a lot and were very welcoming. Each slice was a different take on "New York style pizza" but all very delicious. A great tour....I would recommend it to anyone! |

My grandson and I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very informative and ensured that a good time was had by all!! Definitely something worthwhile for pizza lovers who want to know more about "where and how it all began"!! |

We had a great time with Scott, very entertaining. What he doesn't know about pizzas isn't worth knowing! We were a family group with kids aged 12 & 17, everyone enjoyed it. Scott was a great host, so much information we are now pizza experts. An interesting, informative tour which appealed to all ages and Scott answered all our questions with enthusiasm. Scott you are our pizza hero! |
