Crosstown Pizza Walk

Scott's Pizza Tours is amazing! I had only previously done the bus tour to Manhattan and the other boroughs, so I was not sure how the walking tour would be. However, it was phenomenal! You really get a sense for what goes in to a good pizza and how so many factors go into a great New York slice. Scott is very passionate and well informed with pizza and its history, so it is an absolute pleasure to hear him discuss everything pizza related. My group was lucky enough to go to Lombardi's (every tour starts here, since all pizza started here), a restaurant supply store to see a standard deck oven, Pizza Box, and John's Pizza. All amazing slices - Scott really knows how to pick them out. If you have the time, I absolutely recommend going on one of his pizza tours. They're definitely one of the best ways to see New York, as well as get a taste for what makes New York Pizza great.

MY wife and I were in NY for our honeymoon and we found a few pizza tours online prior to arriving to NY. We wanted to do something that was more than just eating pizza. It was a ton of fun. We got to meet some new people and learn about one another while we enjoyed Scott's vast knoweledge about pizza, its origins, and the direction it has taken from Italy to us today. I plan on revisiting again with my wife and my inlaws in a couple of years and we will definetly be re-touring with Scott's Pizza tour. His enthusiasm alone makes the tour worth seeing. We had a great time on Scotts Pizza tour. Scott was very enthusiastic and dedicated about pizza, back ground, history, Little italy ... basically anything pizza. We would do it again any time!

Scott and his pizza tour is THE BEST tour we have ever taken. Scotts enthusiasm for everything pizza related is incredible and contagious. He makes you want to be part of this industry. He will introduce you to different types of pizza and describe the origins of pizza in America. He truly loves what he does and it shows ! Will definately do the bus tour next time we are in NYC! We had a small tour group, total of 6 ppl. JoAnn was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the tour. We had a great time walking through the different NYC neighborhoods and of course had some great pizza. Well worth it!!

Scott is an engaging and entertaining tour guide who teaches you way more about pizza than you ever thought possible. It's a great way to spend a few hours in New York, well worth your money and time. I have a whole new appreciation for pizza, I now feel like a pizza connoisseur.

We all enjoyed the tour ( even our 16 year old!) It was a great family activity...we would take another "food tour" based on our experience with Scott.
