Interesting excursion

Scott came across as someone who is really enthusiastic about pizza. What could have been a rather mundane tour turned out to be quite interesting. He was very informative about pizza. We had three slices during the three-hour excursion through Little Italy and Soho. The only complaint that I have is that I thought it was a bit too long between the first two slices (stops), but other than that it was a neat experience. If you have never done anything like this before, go for it. Scott was well informed and very accommodating to our needs. If you opt for the walking tour, I would recommend wearing good walking shoes and carrying a small bottle of water. Water was provided at two of our three stops, but you will want it to sip on during the walk and for the stop that doesn't offer drinks. This is an "off the beaten path" activity that most people would enjoy.

Wow! What a great experience. I took my 16 yo pizza loving son! He loved trying the different styles of pizza. I loved learning about pizza making - it made me excited to come home to revamp my pizza recipe. Tons of information and history. We loved it!!

Scott is passionate about pizza - and its history in New York. I would highly recommend anyone to take the tour. I will never look at pizza the same way again! Money well spent. Brian from Vancouver, Canada

We had a fabulous time on the pizza tour - Scott is incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and he knows so much about pizza!!! Will never look at a slice the same way again. Had a great time, ate some great pizza, and learned so much! Went with two teens, and highly recommend it.

Very knowledgable but a little long

Scott is so enthusiastic and clearly passionate and knowledgable about pizza, as well as friendly. But on a four hour tour we expected to eat more than three slices of pizza. There were several times that we stood on a sidewalk for quite a long time so he could expound upon the virtues of coal ovens vs. deck ovens, or low moisture cheese in slices vs. shredded cheese with oil, etc. I felt like we could have had those conversations while also munching on pizza, and cut the tour to 2 or 3 hours. Lombardi's and John's were fantastic but the Pizza Box in between was bleh. He was sweet to the one little girl who was on the tour, but there was a lot of walking and talking so probably not great for young children. Cute gift back with a branded notebook (for taking notes on pizza of course)

Scott knows more about pizza than I thought it was possible to know about any subject. His enthusiasm makes this tour definitely worth taking and I would highly recommend it. Oh yeah, and the pizza was really good too haha

My son (17 years old) and I had a blast. This was our 1st time to NYC and wanted to do something off the beaten path. I'm sure glad we picked Scott's Walking Pizza Tour. Scott was very enthusiastic and passionate about pizzas. I never realized how much there was to learn about one of our favorite meals. I highly recommend this tour to anyone how loves pizza and wants to explore some of the more unique areas of New York.

Brilliant Tour and a great way to see the city

We had a brilliant time on the tour, we would recomend this to anyone who is visiting New York. It was our first time to the city and we found this a great way to get our bearings on the city but also got to see parts that we would have missed if not for this tour. You learn lots about pizza and the history of little Italy. This is a must do and was a high light of our trip

Fantastic!

There were six people in our group and we all agreed that this was one of the highlights of our trip. I have been to NYC countless times and I am always looking for something a bit different to see or do...I would most definately do this tour again. If we could have gone on the Sunday tour we probably would have...but we were leaving for the airport. Scott has the perfect personality for his job (I mean passion) and he is very informative and knowlegeable. There were 8- 65 year olds on our tour and I truely believe that a great time was had by all. There was not one glitch in the tour...it was total perfection!
