| I went on the walking tour last weekend with my mom and we had a BLAST! Scott was highly informed and taught us tons about the history and art of pizza. We ate at three wonderful pizza places that were all delightful. I really want to go on another tour the next time I visit NYC. |

| Scott was an outstanding and well-likable tour guide of New York pizza for my wife and myself. He really showed our group of six individuals what to look for in a pizza and the various ways of how pizzas are made. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend this to anyone visiting New York! Great job Scott! |

| Scott knows a lot about pizza and he's happy to share it. Three great, but different slices of pizza with some history and context thrown in to boot. Highly recommended... |

| On the 4th of July I could have gone to see someone in Coney Island eat 68 hotdogs in ten minutes. Instead, I decided to go on a tour in Manhattan that would let me eat some American fast food myself. I soon learned that even though some pizza's are made in a swift 4 minutes, they can hardly be considered fast food in the regular, unhealthy sense of the word. :)
In the beginning I was kind of unsure whether it would be any fun at all to go on a strange/fun/weird/tasty tour like this, since I only recently moved to New York and had no one to go with. However, it was easy to connect with others in the group, plus Scott was totally awesome and went to great lengths to accommodate even the lone local/foreigner. On top of that, the knowledge Scott has about pizza is amazing; he really knows everything you could possibly want to know about pizza - and more! His enthusiasm and passion for pizza was very contagious, and since the pizza was really very good as well, the tour totally superceded my expectations.
I really had a great afternoon and can recommend this tour to anyone - even when you're on your own! |

| The tour covered a great deal of interesting information. Scott was knowledgable, personable and an all around terrific guide. By the end of the tour it felt like you had spent the day with an old friend. I would do this tour again and I just might on my next visit to New York. |

| I just loved this tour...Scott is enthusiastic, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about pizza! We not only got to visit (and eat at) 3 excellent pizzerias, but we also got to sample fresh mozzarella at a historic dairy and meat shop and even got to see where pizza ovens are still made just around the corner from fancy shops and museums.
When I first heard about this tour, I was worried that it might be super touristy or not quite the type of NYC experience I was looking for. In fact, it turned out to be fascinating and a great way to learn about the history and culture of an important part of the city. Plus, the pizza is delicious! |

| New York City has been known for its amazing pizza since the dawn of pizza's existence in the United States (as it well should be since it was birthed in the very city) What I could not believe was why someone did not come up with this pizza tour idea sooner? However, I am glad Scott was the one who had this epiphany.
A tour that combines both a rich history of pizza, a great walk in downtown New York, and the taste of pizza, what more could you want in a day? I don't care if you lived in New York City all your life or you're just visiting for two days. Scott's Pizza Tours provide a more unconventional type of tour where everyone can learn and leave with their stomachs feeling satisfied. |

| We had so much fun on the PizzaTour! Scott is extremely entertaining and there is nothing he doesn't know about the history of the pizza, where to find the best pizza (practically all over the world!) and the various types of pizza!! I've never seen anyone so dedicated and passionate about the topic before - I'll never look at a pizzeria the same way again. We walked in a trendy part of the city, talked a lot about pizza and ate at 3 pizza joints. It was definitely something unique to do in the city - and well worth the money.
A couple of things to keep in mind - this tour does not talk about the history of the city or the area. We got one or two tidbits, but it is primarily (as the name suggests) all about pizza for 3-hours. Have a snack before you go - you will eat big slices of pizza, but there is a lot of down-time between pizzerias. It was enough to fill us up at the end of the tour (we considered it lunch) but a snack right before the tour would have been a good call.
In summary, if you like pizza definitely take this tour. Scott is extremely qualified and great at what he does. |
