| I never thought the history and celebration of pizza was such an integral part of my enjoyment of the pie! My husband and I had a blast...Scott's personally and enthusiasm make this tour a great education on pizza, oven styles and the history of New York pizza development! I would highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| A must-do while you are in New York. Scott is so enthusiastic about the pizza and you actually learn a lot of interesting facts and tips. He introduced us to Pizzerias we would never have found whilst being there as tourists. Also got to travel around NYC in a bright yellow school bus. Highly recommend it. | ||||||

| The beauty of this tour is that it's a complete change of atmosphere from the more conventional tourism you find on a city break. Instead of a) planning your own itinerary and b) hauling yourself about, you get the lovely Scott and his patient driver Ronnie looking after you, and all you have to do is follow them around from bus to pizzeria to bus to pizzeria (to bakery, even if the last thing you need is more food). As a result, you can relax, chat, listen and eat. The pizza is good pizza. Not necessarily great pizza - perhaps NY style isn't entirely my thing - but authentic and made with love by family firms, all established NY characters. But what makes the tour is Scott - friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable (although he doesn't bore you with facts and history, you feel he could probably spend hours and hours pontificating on every nuance of pizza) and relaxed. You come away wishing he was your best friend. This vibe also translates to the other tourgoers, and it's all very friendly and informal. Four and a half hours may seem a long time to eat four slices of pizza, but it's just right. It's also a great way to get out of Manhattan, if only for a couple of hours, and the school bus is a brilliant and characterful idea. The tour was definitely a highlight of the trip, and left me feeling warm - and full - all over. | ||||||

| We had a great time on Scotts Pizza tour. Scott was very enthusiastic and dedicated about pizza, back ground, history, Little italy ... basically anything pizza. We would do it again any time! | ||||||

| Scott is doing a great job on his tour. Although the topic is very specialised there are lots of information about Little Italy, history and of course Pizza. The places he chooses are excellent and he also gave us some looks behind the scenes. Next time I will definitely try to be on the bus as well! | ||||||

| This was the highlight of my New York weekend! What a surprise to learn so much about every aspect of my favorite food! Scott was an incredible scholar and showman! There wasn't a question he couldn't answer to some depth. He was fascinating and charming. The first thing I did when I got home was to search my pantry to examine my cans of crushed tomatoes for the right ingredients! It was just like a wine tasting - we were totally involved in the experience. Thank you Scotty's Pizza Tour! | ||||||

| This was great, it was cold but worth it. We walked around little italy, learned about cheese, ovens, the history of the area, the differences in crusts due to ovens etc.. it was very infomative and Scott's enthusiasm for pizza was quite contagious. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting nyc. | ||||||
