Scott's Pizza Tours

Our guide was fun, nice and attentive. His passion for pizza is obvious and he was well spoken, open to questions and/or comments and kept everyone interested. He kept the children (ages 13-10) involved and included them in all aspects of the tour. I have already recommended this tour to family and friends. It's a fun visit to the city and let's you explore the Village and Soho instead of seeing the regular sites of NYC. It was money well spent for an afternoon of learning and eating.

Scott's tour is an incredible journey. You'll learn everything you could ever want to know about pizza, and it's super enjoyable to boot.

We went on the Crosstown Tour on Christmas Eve. Our group consisted of two parents and two grown children. We were immediately impressed with Scott's enthusiasm and knowledge. This guy is passionate about pizza! He made the tour fun and interesting. I would recommend this to anyone in New York (both locals and tourists). It changed the way we think about pizza- in a good way. Thank you, Scott!

Scott was extremely knowledgeable and humerous, keeping us entertained the whole tour with clever anecdotes and insightful history lessons. A must. PIzza was fantastic too.

Scott was so enthusiastic and funny. He made up great jokes and took us to superb pizza places! My favorite pizza place was called Lombardi's, America's oldest pizzeria. Scott took us inside of the kitchen ,and we got seated right away! He has a lazer light which senses the temperature, and we got to see the temperature of the oven! It was really hot! The second place was more like modern day pizza, but it was still very good. Scott showed us how to roll out pizza dough, and showed off a couple tricks also! He talked about the history of New York Pizza, also including Italy. The 3rd pizza we tried was at Johns pizza, where we had to eat outside with paper plates, but it was not that bad eatig out side. The pizza was magnificent, again, more like modern style New York pizza. Anyways, all together it was a fantastic pizza tour, I highly reccomend it. *There is alot of walking involved, so if you dont like to walk, not perfect for you, but I believe there is also a bus tour!

We had an excellent experience with Scott on his pizza tour. We never realized how much there was to know about pizza!!! There is no one better to learn about than Scott, as he is VERY passionate about what he does. Well worth the time and money!

We enjoyed getting to know the folks on our tour, and we enjoyed listening to Scott as he educated us about all things pizza. I would like to take another tour (perhaps the Greenwich Village tour) on another day. The only critique I would make is that I would suggest speeding up the time between pizza stop 1 and pizza stop 2. We spent a bit too long in the pizza equipment stores, and I would have preferred moving on to our next slice! Yum!

We started our NYC holiday with Scott's pizza tour and what a start that was. This gentleman knows pizza inside out. He is passionate about it. And now we are looking at our pizzas from top to bottom, even flipping over a piece to check out the bottom of the crust. Scott has so much personality, so much charisma that you want him to be your personal guide for your entire holiday. Our 9 and 11 year old grandkids were just as enthused about the trip as their parents and we grandparents were. He brought them into the action by asking them to do certain things, remembering their names, etc. He made one-to-one contact with everyone on the tour. We were told that this was the best way to start a NYC vacation and that advice was right on the money. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. After that we walked Little Italy and Chinatown. What great memories. Thanks, Scott, from the three generation of Coloradoans!

Scott was a great tour guide , informative, Funny, and a pizza geek! We had a great Day , and tried some new pizza places! I would Surely do it again!

My wife and I took the bus tour and it was alot of fun. Scott is a great guy who is super enthusiastic about pizza. We tried pizza at 4 pizza places in Manhattan and Brooklynn. They were all different in style but all very good. Scott discusses the pizzas in great detail, which I found interesting, but some might find to be overkill. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would go on it again.

Scott was a great tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of NY pizza. He brought us to three different pizza places that all had their own delicious personality. I would highly recommend this tour!

There's a reason this tour is so highly rated on yelp.. because it's fabulous! I was lucky enough to have Scott as my tour guide, and his enthusiasm for pizza was infectious. He clearly knows his stuff, and makes it fun for everyone. This is a tour not to be missed!

Scott is about enthusiastic as you can get. He is obsessed with pizza and knows everything there is to know about it. What a fun, fun tour. I'd recommend it to just about anyone. And I'd love to try one of his walking tours next.
