This was something different to do on holiday and well worth it - you'll tell all of your friends. We loved the walk, the pizza, the history and our guide.

This was a great experience. What a great idea! You get a real "taste" of New York City and some history and a great walking tour.

This was great, it was cold but worth it. We walked around little italy, learned about cheese, ovens, the history of the area, the differences in crusts due to ovens etc.. it was very infomative and Scott's enthusiasm for pizza was quite contagious. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting nyc.

A great way to experience neighborhoods of Manhatt

The tour guide, Scott, was enthusiastic and presented a well researched history of the components that go into good pizza making. The walking distance and the stops on the tour were well planned and not too extraneous. A great idea - good pizza - left us all with a smile on our faces.

Better than a pizza party

Scott was incredibly fun and enthusiastic. He waxed on about how pizzas are made, shared with us great stories about little pizza shops and kept us amused for 4 hours, yet the time went so quickly. He took us to very different pizza places, each one filled with its history of pizza making. Great for families, including teens. Mine loved the tour. I would definitely go again. Scott has a list of great pizzas so we would be testing different ones.

This is a great tour for anyone who is a real foodie...It great to find someone who actually enjoys what they do and doesn't see it just as a job. It's Scott's personal goal to try and make you just as enthusiastic about pizza as he is. I would highly recommend this to anyone

Different but excellent

Scott provided an enthusiastic tour of 4 pizza restaurants/pizzarias. He took us to Nolita, East Harlem, Astoria in Queens and the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn but the locations vary with each trip. He provided us with history of pizza in NYC as well as the differences in pizza styles. This was done in an interesting manner with plenty of breaks so that it did not grow tiresome. If you want a change from the usual AMNH, Met, Empire State Bldg., etc., this if for you. Jon from Richmond, VA.

Eat pizza, learn about the area's history. Great!

I was looking for a tour that my twelve year old and wife and I would both enjoy; we found it with Scott's pizza tour. Scott met us right on time and we immediately started learning about NYC pizza. Scott's knowledge of pizza would have been enough to make the tour interesting, but his knowledge of Little Italy and the surrounding neighborhood's histories was what made the tour excellent vs. simply good. If you are looking for a fun, relaxed way to explore Greenich Village and Little Italy on foot then this is the tour for you. Berlin, Maryland-12/21/08

Visited the city and went on the walking pizza tour for something fun to do other than visit Times Square. We had such a great time. We learned so many fun facts about pizza, the locals, and the city itself. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Also, amazing pizza and Scott had very creative extras added into the tour. Lots of fun!!

I have been living in NY for about 4 years, and always look for fun things to do when relatives come to town. It's a wonderful 4.5 hr experience, that is filled with Scott's pizza wisdom and eating delicious slices. I would recommend this tour to anyone! It's GREAT!

Well worth it. Scott has a frightening amount of pizza knowledge - way beyond just what tastes good. You will leave this tour well-fed, and well-informed.

We GREATLY recommend this tour to ANYONE that loves NYC. The pizzas are excellent. The restaurants are worth the trip. Scott makes the tour, without Scott we would not recommend as highly ! Do it while Scott still gives the tours himself ! There should be a 6 star category !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pizza tour is well worth the time and expense. Scott is a delightful fellow with a lot of local knowledge. Each place he took us we were received with a friendly welcome. My wife and I would do this again because it was very enjoyable. Good job Scott.

My wife and I wanted to know what the best New York pizza was, so we went on Scott's Pizza Walking Tour. It was a great experience. Scott is a really nice, easygoing guy with a passion for pizza, and the three hour tour was a delight. Scott took us to three of the best pizzerias in New York, and explained what was special about the pizza at each one. We got to eat pizza at each place. Two of the pizzerias had coal-burning brick ovens, and Scott explained why these are so great for pizza-making. The walking tour went through both the East and West Village, and Scott explained how the popularity of pizza can be traced back to its origins as a street food in Little Italy. If you are wondering, "Do I really want to spend three hours on a tour about pizza?" the answer is yes. It was terrific!

This was our second time taking the tour. This is not only a great way to tour the top new york pizzerias, but a good way to see new york city. I would highly recommend this tour for anybody who loves pizza, enjoys good company, and wants to learn more about pizza and its history. Scott (the owner/manager/tour guide/pizza enthusiast) is very knowledgable about pizza and the pizzerias he guides you through. We are definitely going back for a third tour because there are different pizzerias on tap nearly every time!
