This turned out to be a highlight of my trip! I have been to NY many times and thought that I don't really need a tour, but wow, this was so much fun! Scott is a fantastic guide, so enthusiastic and full of knowledge. He seems to know every single person in the NY pizza business, from the dishwasher to the restaurant owner to the old guy who builds to pizza ovens. The three pizzerias we went to were all different and the pizza was delicious every time. Also, we got to eat slices at famous places that don't sell pizza by the slice. Excellent value for the money! After the tour we all knew the difference between brick and gas oven pizza, between the different mozzarellas and sauces. He even made the tour 45 minutes longer because we all enjoyed it so much - including Scott. Just great! |

Scott is a fabulous tour guide. He has a great personality, a passion for pizza that's entertaining and educational and a wonderful way of making everyone in the group feel comfortable right away. We all loved this tour, even the 13 year-old! That's saying something! |

Scott was better informed than anyone I know. He discussed so many aspects of the making of pizza and the differences that I really feel more interested in taste testing on my own. Also, my children are excited to experience different restaurants near their colleges.
Scott was enthusiastic and entertaining. His friendly manner made everyone comfortable as a group. He was better than the pizza! |

My husband and I and our two teen granddaughters came on the tour on June 19th. I loved the ambiance of the two pizza restaurants On the eastside, LUZZOS AND LOMBARDI'S. Great fun information about pizza making in America. Scott is so high energy and it's catching. Also fun hearing pizza songs on the bus!

This is my second tour with Scott, both of them I had purchased for my father (a big foodie). We had gone to another food tour the previous day and it was terrible, the tour guide was boring and was seemingly making it up as she went along. With Scott, it is very apparent how much he loves what he does, how much time he puts into his craft and just how much knowledge he has. Who knew talking about pizza for 5 hours would be one of my most favorite activities in the city (as a local i dont know if i should say that). This is fine family fun for children of all ages and adults as well. I am planning to take another tour with Scott but this time we are going to take my mother and husband as well. I can't say enough nice things about Scott and his tour. |

This was one of our favorite things during our NYC trip. Scott was entertaining, enthusiastic, and extremely well informed and the pizza was good, too. Our 12 year old son thoroughly enjoyed himself and so did my husband and I. |

Although it's relatively easy to get excited about pizza, Scott's enthusiasm is completely infectious. He provides great insights into the history of pizza (not just in New York) as well as more specific details on how it evolved in New York. It was also a great way to see new parts of the city while enjoying slices and history along the way. |

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would recommend it without reservation (though you DO need reservations) to anyone. The guide is incredibly personable and enthusiastic. This was a great way to spend a few hours in New York. We learned a lot too! |

Scott is so passionate about his pizza, he is really contagious! Apart from being great fun, and perfect for taking a 16-yearold in New York for the first time - I have to say I did learn loads too. Like how fresh mozzarella taste, and the difference between taste and ovens. So thanks for a great tour! //Angelin from Sweden |

Scott is so engaging and you learn all these interesting facts about the history of pizza in nyc on top of eating some great slices. Really enjoyed this tour. Great way to see and walk lower Manhattan. Scott is a wonderful tour guide, open to questions and input. Highly recommended. I think everyone on our tour (about 20 people) had a ball! |
