Scott's Pizza Tours

We have taken Scott's Pizza tours before -- both the walking tour and the bus tour -- but this exciting new tour introduced us to even MORE wonderful pizza places! My friend and I learned a lot about the evolution of pizza, in addition to understanding the differences in the dough, sauce, cheese, and the types of ovens. We had just the right amount of food to leave us with very happy tummies! It was a very tasty and FUN tour! Thank you Scott!

The reviews were positive, but I had no idea how good it would be. Scott is so passionate about pizza, such a great personality, and so knowledgeable. His enthusiasm is infectious. The stops are good, the pizza is sufficient (but not overwhelming), the history of pizza and analysis is amazing (and slightly overwhelming!). The quality of the pizza is great. Scott is more than a knowledgeable tour guide; he is a pizza celebrity (judges contests around the country) and maybe the #1 pizza aficionado in the world. Highly recommended!

My 16yo son and I had a great time on the tour. Scott gave us a funny, historic and informative tour. Bus trip took us out if the city which was a bonus to us as we were traveling without a car, so we got to see some different views of NYC. Highlight was our first ever white pizza which was delicious. We now understand why NY pizza is the best!

This pizza tour is recommended for everyone. Scott is so passionate about his pizza that it is infectious, so to just enjoy his enthusiasm is fun in itself. Very insteresting facts about pizza and its history and facts. All the information throughout the tour was informative and fun. I will certainly recommend this tour to all my friends and hope they try it if they go to New York. I would even take the walking tour next time I'm in town again. Scott's Pizza (bus) tour was a blast! Our entire family (teenagers) really had a great time. Scott's enthusiasm for pizza really made the day. Saw parts of NYC I've never seen while riding from place to place on our bus. Can't wait to go back and do his walking tour.

Our family group included ages 9 to 74 and we all enjoyed it a lot. Scott has an infectious love for Pizza. My only suggestion for improvement: make it 4 slices instead of 3.

Our entire family loved Scott and the tour. My husband and I loved learning a little history of New York Italians, seeing some of the orginal shops and the pizza ovens being made and of course, the Pizza was delicious and we never dreamed we would get to go into the kitchen at lombardi's. Our 11 year old son was completely enthralled with scott, his words and the pizza. We did the 3 hour walking tour and our son made it just fine. I highly recommend the walking tour for both its educational aspect and the pizza! Scott is extremely knowledgeable, entertaining and a pizza zealot!

We had a fabulous time on the pizza tour - Scott is incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and he knows so much about pizza!!! Will never look at a slice the same way again. Had a great time, ate some great pizza, and learned so much! Went with two teens, and highly recommend it.

I brought my daugher and her boyfriend Kenny (19 yo and 21yo) on this tour. We spent several days sightseeing in NY and this tour was one of our highlights. I rate it up with touring the Statue of Liberty. Scott, the tour guide, is really passionate about pizza. He enthusiastically gave interesting pizza history and great advice on what to look for in a great pizza. The taste testing just topped the whole tour off! Thank you Scott!

Scott's enthusiasm and overall knowledge of pizza history and ingredients made for a great afternoon. I'm reasonably sure that I will never be able to eat a slice of pie anywhere ever again without remembering something he said, or thinking of something that happened on the tour. I live in Florida, so it will no doubt be a while before I make it to NYC again, but if/when I do, I'll do the Pizza Tour again!

I am a New Yorker and my sister booked the pizza tour for our family. It was fun and eductional and made me appreciate pizza more than I thought possible. Scott made it fun for the kids and the adults. He was engaging, funny, gave us an education on the history of pizza and its origins in NYC. I loved it and would highly recommend to young and old.

This was a great experience! Scott was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and was so welcomed everywhere we went. Even though it was cold and wet, we still had fun. Would highly recommend this tour.

A lot of fun for tourists and recommended to locals for a fun day learning interesting facts about pizza and southern italian culture in both Italy and in NYC Highly recommended

Scott was wonderful! The tour was great and comprehensive and Scott was personable, knowledgeable and lots of fun. His great relationships with the pizzaria owners was evident by the great service they showed us. All in all a great day and even our teenagers enjoyed it!!!

Scott has a passion for pizza and shares his knowledge and love for same. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!
