Incredibly Awesome and Delicious Pizza Tour!

Scott (of Scott's Pizza Tours) runs the most delicious tours you will ever experience. During our four-hour tour, we visited four different brick oven pizzerias throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Scott will drop tons of pizza knowledge on you throughout the entire trip, and by the end of the four hours, you will know way more about pizza than you ever could imagine. One of my favorite parts of the tour was visiting Bari, the pizza oven and equipment manufacturer, where we got a sneak peak into the world of pizza oven making. Overall, Scott does a great job and I couldn't have asked for a better tour. Highly recommend.

Scott, I Love You.

This was an incredible tour. I learned so much about New York City history, pizza history, the ingredients, and, most of all, what it takes to create a truly great pizza. Not only did I find great places to eat in the city I love, but I refined my pizza-palette in a way I never thought possible. As for Scott, himself... he is an incredible tour guide. The entire tour exuded his passion for pizza and sharing it with the world. I enjoyed myself more by simply being in the presence of Scott's enthusiasm. I normally get tired and bored by the end of a typical tour. Not this one. When I finished this tour, I was just as excited and energetic as when we left (save for the utterly satisfying full-ness).

Fun afternoon in NYC. Lots of good pizza and useless trivia about pizza. Tour Guide, Scott, was knowledgeable and engaging. Great tour for the old and young!

Who knew there was more to pizza than just biting into a slice. Scott, our pizza-ologist for the day, graciously fed us some of the best pizza in the city, while explaining the in's and out's of coal-burning brick ovens, fresh vs. aged mozzarella, and the proper curl of a pepperoni "topping". Though Scott really knows his stuff, he's also fun to hang with on Sunday afternoon. My wife and I highly recommend the tour!!! g-man (LyndaLarch's Husband)

If you're looking for something different to do while you're in the NYC-area, definitely check out this tour. Scott is a great, enthusiastic host & tour guide who always makes sure everyone on the tour is having a good time and is taken care of. At the same time, he's telling you what's important about the pizza you're eating, the place you're traveling to or what you're looking at. The pizza is great as well and offers a good snapshot of what is special about this tour. The bus tour is an all-day activity and can be a little much in hot weather or weekend traffic. Going with a big group of friends would probably enhance the experience. Definitely want to try the walking tour in the future.

Very informative Tour. A fun day with Great Pizza and Nice people. Scott is a perfect guide and went the extra mile to make sure everyone was satisfied. The price is a steal. I expected to pay extra for the food and drink only to show up and find out it was included in the price of the tour. Its more then just Pizza. Bravo Scott ! Keep up the good work!

All I can say is that everyone enjoyed the tour. What a great ,informative, and delicious time we had. We started in NY at the oldest Pizzaria and met Scott what nice and gracious person. He loves PIZZA buy the way...and knows everything about it. And if anyone knows of a Pizza Place he should visit please let him know. He's always looking for a new adventure. What ever you do go on this tour and bring all your friends you will have the time of your lives. And you get to taste 4 different pizza's. Belive it or not you won't be hungry when your done. And if you are still hungry. You can stop by The Real Original Rays on Prince St. Just around the corner from your start. Thanks again Scott for a memorable time we won't forget it. Philip Klipper

Scott's Pizza Tour is DELICIOUS!

I have been eating pizza for my entire life. I have known good pizza and not-so-good pizza, but before this past Sunday I never knew why I liked the pizza I liked, aside from that it tasted good. Scott's enthusiasm for pizza was extremely contagious, and we all caught the fever that day. His genuine excitement about the food and what exactly goes in to making the different styles of pizza we sampled made us all want to learn more about this staple of the American diet. One of the best parts is that Scott did not preach that the pizza we ate on Sunday was "the best" (although it was extremely delicious). He told us all that the purpose of the tour was to introduce people to different styles of pizza and how different types of pies are made, such as giving us the opportunity to sample pies made in wood-burning, coal-burning, and gas ovens. Scott's enthusiasm for the pizza was nearly matched by his enthusiasm for the people on the tour. He made the time to talk to everyone and made the tour a personal experience for us all. If you are worried about filling up - don't! While all the pizza was heavy on flavor, most of it was made with a thinner crust and was lighter to eat. While Scott's unique personality and genuine entusiasm certainly set this tour apart from any other I've taken, the owners/managers of the pizzarias we visited were also extremely accomodating, knowledgable, and friendly, definitely adding in a very positive way to our experience. Perhaps the best part is that Scott provides "goody bags" for everyone on the tour that include lemon candies (palate cleansers), Hershey kisses (dessert), a gummy pizza, and a pad and pen, which were especially useful for those of us who plan on returning to the pizzarias we visited and share our newfound knowledge with friends and family. Of course, no scribbled notes could replicate the fun and signature way Scott has imparted his knowledge and entusiasm for pizza! TAKE THIS TOUR!

If you like pizza and are a fan of tours than you owe it to yourself to check out Scott's Pizza Tours! I went on the first bus tour offered by Scott's Pizza Tours on Sunday April 27th and it turned out to be one of the best afternoons of my life(no exaggeration I promise you.) Not only was the pizza delicious, but Scott the tour guide was an excellent host. He was very knowledgable and enthusiastic which made the tour that much more enjoyable and informative for all of the pizza fans on the bus. We went to some of the best pizzerias throughout New York, learned a lot about the history of pizza and had a great time in the process. I cannot think of a better way to spend an afternoon, and am looking forward to my next pizza tour!
