Scott's Pizza Tours

I went on six different tours while in New York and Scott's Pizza Tour was by far my favorite. The tour explains so much about why pizza is the way pizza is, and if you're even halfway interested in food, you'll find it facinating. The amount of information regarding pizza, the ingredients and the processes is staggering, and Scott seems to know it all. On top of Scott's pizza knowledge, his obvious enjoyment of the topic, and his infectious personality, by the end of the tour you'll loving the topic too, and very full. This is a tour that should definitly not be missed.

Scott's Pizza Tours is amazing! I had only previously done the bus tour to Manhattan and the other boroughs, so I was not sure how the walking tour would be. However, it was phenomenal! You really get a sense for what goes in to a good pizza and how so many factors go into a great New York slice. Scott is very passionate and well informed with pizza and its history, so it is an absolute pleasure to hear him discuss everything pizza related. My group was lucky enough to go to Lombardi's (every tour starts here, since all pizza started here), a restaurant supply store to see a standard deck oven, Pizza Box, and John's Pizza. All amazing slices - Scott really knows how to pick them out. If you have the time, I absolutely recommend going on one of his pizza tours. They're definitely one of the best ways to see New York, as well as get a taste for what makes New York Pizza great.

Scott makes this tour so much fun and his enthusiam over pizza is contagious! Lots of tasty fun with a bit of a history lesson along the way!

Scott led this tour. This tour provided us the chance to meet family and I am a repeat customer. Scott has thoroughly researched all aspects of the pizza making process. His knowledge has only grown since our last tour. His passion for the subject was infectious. Not only was the pizza delicious but he knew the answer to every question we asked him down to the smallest detail. I heartily recommend this engaging and delicious tour.

The reviews were positive, but I had no idea how good it would be. Scott is so passionate about pizza, such a great personality, and so knowledgeable. His enthusiasm is infectious. The stops are good, the pizza is sufficient (but not overwhelming), the history of pizza and analysis is amazing (and slightly overwhelming!). The quality of the pizza is great. Scott is more than a knowledgeable tour guide; he is a pizza celebrity (judges contests around the country) and maybe the #1 pizza aficionado in the world. Highly recommended!

Scott has a tremendous passion for pizza and it shows! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and it was hard not to be energized and have a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend the tour. You'll eat some delicious pizza, learn from the best, and have a lot of fun!

This tour should not be missed! Scott was incredibly energetic, knowledgeable and made the tour unforgettable. We toured four pizza restaurants, learned about pizza and had an unforgettable afternoon. The pizza was delicious! Anyone who books this tour will not be disappointed.

Scott was the most amazing tour guide, his energy about pizza was contagious! The pizza of course was delish, but having him with us for the tasting made the experience! I will for sure be going on another tour with Scott!

My 16yo son and I had a great time on the tour. Scott gave us a funny, historic and informative tour. Bus trip took us out if the city which was a bonus to us as we were traveling without a car, so we got to see some different views of NYC. Highlight was our first ever white pizza which was delicious. We now understand why NY pizza is the best!

Scott is a rally energetic, fun tour guide; he also knows EVERYTHING about pizza. I would recommend this to anyone who likes pizza, which is every sane person. Every sane person should do this tour.

Scott knows everything there is to know about pizza - and presents it in a fun, imformative way. The 3 hours flew by (well really 3.5 because he won't stop the tour until all of the questions the group has are answered!) Would recommend to anyone who loves pizza - or even just likes it.

Just a fun tour to do. Went with my adult children and their spouses. Scott has lots of enthusiasm and really knows pizza. He is a wealth of knowledge about pizza. He'll answer any and all questions about pizza. I highly recommend this tour if you want a fun family activity. Ideal for all ages of children though there is a fair amount of walking.

Awesome tour really informative tourguide!

Scott was passionate about pizza, the ingrediants and how it is made. He chose pizza places that clearly demonstrated differences in pizza and why each one was different. Scott was definitely knowledgable about his job and was enthusiastic and shared that enthusiam with us. It was a fun and fast trip and would hands down recommend it to anyone. In fact we are planning another trip with more family members.
