Do not miss this pizza walking tour

There were three of us in our specific group who went on the pizza walking tour w/ Scott; this is a MUST when in NYC! The walking tour was beyond fantastic, as was the pizza. Scott is very friendly, easy to talk to and super super knowledgeable about pizza. He made everyone feel right at home. You will not walk away hungry either. All of us on the tour learned some good information about pizza. We even had a "magical" bonus stop with extra pizza. We cannot say enough about how great this tour was. For things to do in NYC, this is one thing you should not miss doing. It is one of our top 3 things we did on our NYC trip. Would we go again? You bet, no doubt about it!!

After being delighted with last year's walking tour of Little Italy and Greenwich Village, we took the bus tour to the boroughs and loved it. Scott's knowledge and passion for his subject sweeps you along, and the four pizza stops are yummy too. Since Scott always mixes up the restaurants on his tours, we plan to do it again in the future.

The tour was great, Scott was VERY enthusiastic and captivating. We learned alot about not only pizza, but the history and culture of NY. The only complaint I could make is that we would have liked to have eaten more than one slice at each place. I would definitely take this tour again!

Scott was extremely enthusiastic and friendly. From the moment the tour started he took the time to get to know us and hear where we were from. I loved his passion for pizza and enjoyed our time together. The tour flew by and we sampled some really delicious pizza. I highly recommend this to a visitor to NY or even a local looking to check out some good spots and learn some fun pizza history.

It was really fun to get an insider's view of pizza and food in the city. We felt like we hit the jackpot getting to taste some of the best slices in town. The kids enjoyed it and the walking was the perfect amount. Loved getting a feel for the neighborhoods as we walked and learned about history of NY and history of pizza.

Our famiy has visited New York on numerous occasions and was looking for something new on this trip. Our children, ages 11 and 9, were as enthralled with the tour as we were! They could not stop talking about all the different types of pizzas available and all the experiences they had on the trip! It was great! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about pizza and made if very fun and entertaining! We would highly recommend!

Loved The Day...
Sun, Nov 21, 10   11:00 AM giwaff Male 30-39 International Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
This was our first full day in NYC and I can only say it was a great way to start the holiday. Scott clearly loves Pizza, I dont think I have ever met someone that loves Pizza or anything else so much. Loved the idea of the School Bus a classic icon of America, so to travel around on one was fun. Excellent Value for money, we wouldnt have gone in the outer boroughs, so to visit pizza places out there allowed us to watch out the window as we drove around between pizza joints. Along with the pizza slices, the history of NY pizza and Scott loved how friendly everyone on the tour was, and such a wide range in age and places everyone was from Suggested must for anyone with a free Sunday morning, local or international

Great family day!

We did the pizza bus tour after a recommendation form our friends to take the pizza walking tour. Since it was sold out, we opted for the bus... which took us to Harlem, Astoria, Queens and Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a fun and diverse group of people, but we were the only group with kids. Scott is incredible. Gotta love him! Such enthusiasm, personality and a passion for pizza. We began our tour at Lombardi's. Perfection. We had fun discussing and comparing the pizzas, which were all very tasty. Our kids range from 4 to 16, and they all got into it and enjoyed the day. We will definitely go back and tell our friends.

Original, Fun, Yummy, Worth It, DO IT!
Sun, Nov 21, 10   11:00 AM abco14 Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
I cannot recommend this crazy-fun tour enough. I used to not like pizza, think of it as a junk food, and not really think of it that often. That has all changed now. From learning about the fresh mozz., to understanding how breaking basil leaves spreads the oils over the pizza, and that thin crust & a simple sauce, pizza is now a staple food I turn to time and time again. We took the bus tour and got to visit neighborhoods and boroughs I never would've traveled to otherwise. The range of pizzas is incredible, especially since we get into such intricacies of how they're made, why they're made that way, and their historical origins. Scott is a blast a minute, a total natural at interacting with any type of crowd and personality. This is perfect for families with teens, couples, tourists, locals (the types of people we had on our tour) and everyone left having learnt *at least* one new & interesting fact, and with a new favorite pizzeria.

LOADS OF FUN!
Fri, Nov 19, 10   11:00 AM jfbruni Female 30-39 Local Family Without Children
My husband loves pizza so this tour was a birthday surprise for him. It was a blast, from the moment Scott introduced himself personally to each attendee and discover what their interest is in pizza until we parted 3 1/2 hours later (we ran a little long that particular day). Scott is an exceptional tour guide (probably for any subject), but his passion for pizza is infectious. Weeks later we're still analyzing our pizzas and enjoying them in a different way!
