Scott's Pizza Tours

This was my second time visiting New York (I live in Vancouver, BC), and, without question, the Pizza Tour was one of the best things that I've done there, and it was certainly the best part of my most recent trip. I would highly recommend the walking tour to anyone and everyone. Joanne (think that was her name), our guide, was super knowledgeable about not just pizza but New York in general. I loved all the information, which was a combination of both pizza history and New York city history, and, of course, I also loved the pizza. Lombardi's was my favourite, but Joe's and John's were also great. My only complaint? Not ENOUGH pizza. I could have kept going all day. I'm telling everyone I know who's thinking about coming to New York to do the Pizza Tour.

Really enjoyed the tour. I came by myself and that was fine and a few other people were by themselves too. Pizza was yum :) If you're a pizza lover or foodie I would highly recommend this tour. Tour guide was awesome and recommend other foodie places to go like a yummy cannelloni place on Blecker St. Tour wasn't over crowded with too many people.

Joanne is the best! The walking tour was unique, informative and a lot of fun! It's a great way to spend an afternoon and visit some of the greatest pizza joints in the city (and even the kitchen of Lombardi's!) I highly recommend it.

We had a great time on our tour, Scott is more than enthusiastic and he knows literally everything there is to know about pizza. Probably the most fun part of our trip to NYC. We visited three pizzerias and they were all amazing, especially Lombardi's was very tasty. Would recommend to anyone, unless allergic.

The kids and I had a great time on the tour. It held their interest and filled their stomachs! We even made a point to eat dinner at one of the pizza spots the next day. Scott was very enthusiatic and informative.

Enthusiastic and passionate guide, original, and creative. Tasting a variety of pizzas certainly helps to learn about pizza and its manufacture while keeping the stomachs full!

Learned a lot about pizza while also getting to taste some of it. The tour guide was exceptional- very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Highly recommended.

it is for the serious pizza lover - those who have a taste for perfection and know the difference.Definitely alot of walking between 1st and 2nd stops. Includes stopping at commercial equipment shops & cheese shops. You really work up an appetite! Do remember to take bottled water!

our tour guide LOVES pizza and his energy was very pleasing for this tour. Our family enjoyed the walk and history. Lots of things we learned about pizza. Would highly recommended this Tour for all ages.

Scott was great!! He was full of energy and really knew his stuff when it came to Pizza. My friend and I actually went back to enjoy some extra time at Lombardi's!! Scott did talk a little long at the end and I actually saw him talk his way our of a tip as someone was waiting for him to take a breath so that they could give it to him. But when he didn't take a moment they left. I would however recommend this tour to anybody!! It was awesome!! I really loved out Pizza survival kit!! It was hilarious!! I really enjoyed that it was a walking tour. You really get to see so much more that way!! Thank you I had a blast.

I loved it. Sorry we had to leave before it was over as my daughter was not feeling well. What we did get to do was wonderful, and one day I will be back to finish up the entire tour!!

When we visted NYC last year we went on Scott's pizza walking tour and loved it so much that this year we went on his bus tour. As before, Scott was an enthusiastic leader who knows more about pizza than you would think possible, and makes it all fun. When you add the sights you'll see and all the delicious pizza you will eat, how can you go wrong? Take Scott's walking or bus tour - or both - and you'll appreciate pizza more than ever! What an incredible New York experience!

Scott's Pizza tour was fabulous! Scott was very passionate and knowledgeable about pizza. He was enthusiastic about answering our questions and made this tour one to remember. The tour also included information about pizza history, brick ovens, cheese and crust. All of the pizza we tasted was delicious and unique in its own way. It was also nice to be outside walking from location to location. Our family would definitely do the longer version of this tour next time we visit New York. This was a great tour.

This was my favorite event/tour, etc. of a week-long trip to New York with my wife and 11-year old child. Scott's Pizza Tour was incredible, enlightening and very personal. Scott is a gem in New York and I consider this the #1 tour for any visitor. UNBELIEVABLE is all I can say. Scott was fantastic and has a passion (for pizza) like no other. He made us all appreciate pizza like we never have before. The history lesson is worth the tour, not to mention some of the best pizza you will ever have. I can only thank Scott for his passion to do such a thing that others can take part in. I will always recommend this tour to everyone I know that will visit New York.
