My sister and I were looking forward to the pizza tour, and we were NOT disappointed. Scott is passionate, considerate, informed, and has a real zest for pizza/food/life - wherever we went, everyone stopped and listened to him, he is very infectious.
This was a wonderful way to spend a beautiful sunny day in Manhattan. Lots of information, great food, and laughs. Scott really knows his stuff and loves to share it. We enjoyed walking through the different neighborhoods and learning more about them.
Super fantastic day!
Thanks, Tracy and Karoline from Calgary |

I would recommend the tour to anyone except a family with small children as there is quite a bit of walking involved. I enjoyed hearing about the history of pizza and getting to go behind the scenes at some restaurants and even the shop where the pizza ovens are made. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable and made us laugh a lot. Now I know which places to go to for pizza when I return to New York in the future! |

This tour was a lot of fun -- one of the highlights of our trip. Joanna was funny and knowledgeable. The pizza was AMAZING. We'll never look at pizza the same way again! |

I must have misunderstood the tour description. I thought it was going to more of a pizza tasting - trying many different kinds of pizza. instead it was very detailed info, lots of lecturing, and only 3 pizza places.
But Scott is really good at the tour, he is super enthusiastic, he knows a ton about pizza, and he's super nice and friendly. Plus the 3 pizzas you try are full slices and leave you stuffed :) |

We had a great time on Scott's Pizza Tour. We knew we would eat some great pizza (and we did) but had no idea we would learn so much, and have so much fun while doing it. Scott is awesome at what he does. He is warm, friendly, engaging, and the most enthusiastic booster of the World's Greatest Food. The most fun we've ever had on a guided tour. |

If there is something about pizza that Scott doesn't know, then it is simply not worth knowing! He has in depth knowledge about the history of pizza, toppings, cooking methods and is incredibly enthusiastic about it all.
I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys pizza! |

All of the glowing reviews are right - this is a super super fun, unique way to experience New York, and a food that unifies all of us. Scott is well studied in the subject, and has infectious love and passion for pizza. I felt great supporting his business, but also had a genuinely great experience. I can truly say that the tour changed my perspective on pizza.
My husband and I were visiting from Austin, and he gave us his top recommendations in OUR town, as well. Fun!
We took the bus tour, which allowed us to get outside of Manhattan to Harlem and The Bronx.
Do it! |

Scott was amazing...his love of pizza is infectious he is outrageous ....he cares about people and pizza....and that everyone is having a good time. My knowledge of pizza has tripled and what I thought would be dull was spectacular...I went with my cousin and her grandson and girlfriend who gave her the tickets for Christmas and we had such a great time. I have been dieting and had not had a slice of pizza in a year and half ...after tasting the great pizza we had I hope I don't have a relapse and start eating it again....it is going to be tuff. Scott is a walking pizza genius we love you SCOTT... keep telling everyone about it .....we will return to do it again with an even bigger group....Scott named my cousin PIZZA Queen and that just made her day...because she was on one on the bus who answered the question how do you heat up pizza....and she always usually knows the answers to a lot of questions and she had that one right too.... |

The tour was great and the maps and other visual aids really helped share the vision.
If our leaders were as enthusastic about solving problems in Washington as Scott is about Pizza, we would have NO problems.
I never knew there was so much to know about what is becoming America's new favorite food!!! I recommend this tour to anyone who likes a great story and great pizza. |

We planned this as a Mother's day activity and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. It was great to see different places in New York we had never been to. The science of Pizza making was a hit for our 10 year old son: from measuring the heat inside the oven with a temperature gun to tasting the difference of triple zero flour was fantastic.
Scott's enthusiasm is contagious and we all learned so much as well as tasted wonderful slices... |
