Scott's Pizza Tours

We decided to take this tour to access pizza restaurants sometimes difficult to book and also to discover the East Village, Greenwich and West Village in a fun and different way... the tour was all of that and was really enjoyable! Scott is passionate about the pies and will give you lot of information about ingredients, pizza ovens...etc... obviously pizza is the main topic but you will also learn about the Italian immigration in NYC. As Scott says, it was AWESOME! Go for it, don't hesitate!

Scott is an excellent host and tour guide-- so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He has a special way of making everyone feel like an old friend. We brought our 2 kids- ages 11 and 14 and they liked it too. A lot of knowledge was shared-- its not only about eating pizza; we also learned about cheese making and different types of ovens. Nice tour.

Although it rained the entire time, we had a blast! Scott's enthusiasm is contagious, and his love for teaching and learning makes him an ideal tour guide.

I love pizza, so when my wife and I decided to travel to New York I really wanted to experience everything that is 'New York Pizza'. This tour gave us the history and knowledge to do that. After this tour I will never look at pizza the same again!! Scott explains, in detail, the history of Pizza in New York, the different styles, the different ingredients, and the different cooking methods. It is well worth the time and money , I highly recommend this tour for anyone that enjoys pizza!!

This is our second trip to NYC - and in the first trip we covered the usual things like the Empire State Building and various other tourist attractions. This time, we wanted to get off the beaten path, learn a bit more about NYC and have some fun. My daughter (16) and I enjoyed this immensely - and would recommend this to anyone who likes to have fun, learn something, meet interesting people and see and experience true NYC culture in an amazing way. The pizza was good too. Outstanding, actually. Excellent adventure - we'll remember it for years.

I love the ride on a school bus, I really love and have so much fun with the person guide the tour and thi8nk he is really fun and enthusiastic and I really like the places my boyfriend and I did not find anything wrong with this tour, it was a wonderful for us- thanks very much, I am already recommending the tour to all my friends.

Wanted to do something different with my wife to celebrate a birthday and this was perfect. Scott was a great tour guide,knows more about pizza than anybody else probably in the world. Learned a lot and got to try different pizzas and had an overall good time. A great way to spend an afternoon,might even go back with friends.

How can we possibly fall more in LOVE with pizza? Well...meet Scott...lover and aficionado of all things pizza and he will make you see the light. Scott took us to pizzerias with character and charm that no other city can provide. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and sweet self made every dollar of this pizza support group worthwhile. My husband still talks about all the pies we tried that day. Thanks Scott for a most wonderful and delicious time!! From the goodie bags to the big yellow bus...you can't go wrong and this is a MUST do in New York City!!!

We did not know what to expect when we arrived, but we quickly found out that Scott is a passionate and deeply knowledgable guide about pizza. If you want to know its history, how it is made in different ways, why different pizza tastes different, and where to get a great slice or pie anywhere in New York or the greater United States, go on this tour. A great combination of eating, sightseeing and learning (all focused on pizza), this is a fabulous way to spend an afternoon in the city.

My friend and I went on the pizza tour early into our trip, and I am so glad we did! Scott was hilarious and amazingly friendly. Just being lead around by him without the pizza would have been fun. It really helped us see the city and we loved the pizza so much, we went back to Lombardi's and ordered a whole pie later in the week.

Loved the tour, lots of interesting facts and the pizza was delicious. Scott is very knowledgeable and charismatic, it was great fun.

scott is great. enthusiastic and knowledgable. i wouldn't recommend going to joe's. It wasn't that great to me. but i guess u need something to compare great pizza to. Lombardi's was a good stop and so was John's. I didn't like going to the shop where the pizza ovens were made. I think we could have gone without that. I wanted to go to more pizza stops.

Scott's Pizza tour is a great way to spend half of your day in NYC. Scott himself is a fantastic and passionate guy that knows a TON about pizza! This tour is great for learning about the history of pizza as well as eating some FANTASTIC slices

My husband and I has a wonderful time on this tour! Scott was very knowledgable and entertaining. He presented a lot of interesting facts and tidbits. We learned a lot about how the different pizzerias make pizza and what the best ingredients are. I would reccomend this tour to anyone looking for something a bit different.
